Chapter 35: I Offer My Loyalty to You!
Su Wudeng gently patted Zhong Huihui’s back. “It’s okay.”
She looked around at the worried faces of her friends. “Don’t worry, everyone. The operation was a success. The mother snow leopard and both of her babies survived.”
A collective sigh of relief washed through the room.
“However, the mother suffered severe injuries and desperately needs rest,” Su Wudeng continued. “She cannot be disturbed for the time being. Huihui, could you help clean up the operating room? I need to get these two goose eggs into the incubator first.”
She turned to Amber, whose tail was wagging happily. “Amber, could you help Huihui out?”
After all, a fully grown snow leopard was incredibly heavy.
Amber immediately sat up straight, looking like a soldier determined to accomplish a critical mission. Woof! Don’t worry! Leave it to me!
Zhong Huihui pushed open the doors to the operating room. Instantly, the heavy, metallic tang of blood hit her face.
Even though she was mentally prepared, the sheer amount of blood still made her gasp. “Oh my god…”
So much blood… How much did she lose? She must have been in so much agony!
She looked at the mother snow leopard lying quietly on the surgical table, her chest rising and falling with weak, shallow breaths. Her once magnificent body was swathed in thick white bandages, and patches of crimson were already beginning to seep through. It was an incredibly pitiful sight. This massive, majestic, and beautiful creature had been reduced to something so fragile.
Zhong Huihui gently stroked the top of the snow leopard’s head, her heart aching. “You poor thing.”
As she turned around to begin clearing away the medical waste, a stainless steel surgical tray caught her eye.
Resting in the center of the tray were five blood-stained bullets.
“They’re huge…” Zhong Huihui shuddered, unable to fathom the sheer agony the snow leopard must have felt when these heavy slugs tore through her flesh. “Those damn poachers!”
She sent a silent prayer of thanks that their Shop Owner was capable enough to extract every single one.
As she meticulously cleaned the room, she whispered a quiet prayer in her heart. Mama Leopard, you have to get better soon.
“Huh?” She suddenly noticed the massive, futuristic surgical suite taking up half the room. “Did the Shop Owner buy this? It looks so high-tech. As expected of the boss, always planning ahead!”
After sanitizing the room, Zhong Huihui and Amber carefully transferred the sleeping snow leopard to the intensive care unit. The leopard didn’t stir once during the move.
While Zhong Huihui monitored the mother, Su Wudeng was busy settling the two tiny cubs into their incubator.
The rest of the group didn’t dare disturb them, opting to watch from the doorway with heavy hearts. Seeing the miserable state of the snow leopard family filled them with both deep sympathy and burning rage.
But when Su Wudeng finally brought out the tray with the five extracted bullets, their anger reached its boiling point.
“Those poachers are absolute scum!”
“How could they be so cruel to such a beautiful creature?!”
“Gunshot wounds are already hard enough to treat, let alone wounds from caliber rounds this large. One wrong move and she would have died!”
“Damn them!”
Su Wudeng looked down at the bloodied lead. Based on the knowledge she had acquired since arriving in this world, the firearms that matched these bullets were remarkably primitive. Compared to the futuristic technology available in the System Shop, the caliber, propulsion, and stopping power of these weapons were incredibly backward.
This meant the poachers were native to this beast-taming era. Unlike her, who had crossed over with access to an advanced System, the people of this world relied almost entirely on the combat prowess of their pets. As a result, their conventional firearms were severely underdeveloped.
Yet, knowing that these primitive, crude weapons had inflicted such horrific damage on the mother snow leopard—and likely countless other innocent beasts—filled Su Wudeng with an indescribable fury.
The near-extinction of Spirit Beasts in the wild was almost certainly due to the reckless greed of poachers like them!
Professor Yang was deeply distressed. “Snow leopards are incredibly rare. How could anyone have the heart to kill one? Just slaughtering them in cold blood… why?”
He had assumed the poachers were modern criminals, but he couldn’t wrap his head around the sheer malice of hunting such a magnificent creature just for its pelt.
Uncle Lan stared at the bullets thoughtfully and sighed. “Professor Yang, poachers don’t think like you or me. They don’t care about rarity or beauty. They only care about money. Snow leopards are valuable, so they track them down. Their fur fetches a high price on the black market, so they kill them to skin them. They couldn’t care less if they drive a species to extinction.”
He paused, his expression turning grim. “Furthermore, these syndicates are highly organized. They work in groups, strike fast, and evacuate immediately after making a profit.”
Professor Yang’s face turned pale. To him, this wasn’t just crime; it was an inhumane massacre. To think that even now, with the global ecosystem on the brink of collapse, these people were still butchering wildlife for a quick buck!
Uncle Lan’s eyes flickered with deep worry. “What I’m more concerned about right now is…” He looked directly at Su Wudeng. “Poachers are relentless. Once they target a lucrative hunting ground, they don’t just give up. This means they will likely send more people into the Secret Realm. They won’t stop until there’s no profit left to bleed from the forest.”
“What?!” The group was outraged.
“You mean they’re going to come back?!”
“So not only is the snow leopard still in danger, but all the other animals in the forest are too!”
“Those bastards!”
“How dare they!”
Lei Jing stepped forward, his fists clenched tight. “Shop Owner, we are more than willing to deal with those poachers for you! Just say the word. We’ll follow you in and wipe every last one of them out! Scum who want to exterminate pets don’t deserve to breathe the same air as us!”
Su Wudeng sighed inwardly. If it weren’t for Uncle Lan’s insight, she wouldn’t have realized just how organized and rampant these poaching syndicates were. She appreciated Lei Jing’s fierce loyalty, but unfortunately, the Secret Realm wasn’t a physical place they could travel to; it was locked to her System, and no one else could enter.
She pondered for a moment before looking at the group. “Don’t worry. I will personally make sure they are dealt with permanently.”
A plan was already forming in her mind. She would use the overwhelming technological superiority of the System to crush them.
Judging by their weapons, the poachers’ tech was primitive. They relied heavily on their tamed beasts to gain a tactical advantage in the wild. While she didn’t have a small army of combat pets, she could easily obliterate them with pure firepower.
The scout drone had already proven its worth today. Going forward, she could deploy a network of advanced surveillance drones across the forest and install automated, heavy-firepower defense turrets. She wouldn’t even need to be there in person to build an impenetrable fortress.
The animals in her forest would never have to fear poachers again!
Seeing the absolute certainty in Su Wudeng’s eyes, Uncle Lan was secretly shocked.
Is she planning to mobilize the organization behind her? he wondered.
To possess a massive, top-tier Secret Realm, she had to be backed by a terrifyingly powerful faction. There was no way her superiors would sit idly by while poachers raided their territory.
Thinking of this, Uncle Lan felt a wave of relief. Yet, the more he observed Su Wudeng, the more awe he felt. Just who is she? To have unrestricted access to a top-tier Secret Realm… her status within her organization must be unimaginably high!
He let out a quiet breath. Thank god for Shop Owner Su. Thank god it’s her.
Professor Yang’s thoughts perfectly mirrored Uncle Lan’s. He also assumed that Su Wudeng’s hidden forces were about to make their move. However, his mind was far more preoccupied with the snow leopard.
He looked at Su Wudeng with barely contained excitement. “Shop Owner Su, that snow leopard… if I’m not mistaken, is she a Frostblade Snow Leopard?”
Su Wudeng nodded. “Yes, she is.”
Professor Yang trembled, completely losing his usual academic composure. “A Frostblade Snow Leopard! To think I would live to see one with my own eyes! They are Commander-level beasts capable of manipulating ice and snow! They are one of the rarest Ice-type elemental pets in existence! Fiercely territorial and notoriously difficult to tame, they were considered legendary even before the ecological collapse!”
The rest of the room stared at him in shock. None of them had witnessed the leopard’s battle with the poachers, so they had no idea how powerful she was. Thanks to their smart glasses and pet encyclopedias, they knew she was a snow leopard, but they hadn’t realized her true pedigree.
“She’s a Commander-level pet?!”
“Wait, isn’t that the same rank as the Saber-Toothed Tiger ruling the Southern District?”
“Holy crap… that explains so much.”
Zhong Huihui’s eyes sparkled. “And she’s an Ice-type! That is so cool!”
Professor Yang pushed his glasses up his nose, his expression turning serious. “The only reason those poachers nearly succeeded is that she had just given birth. For any living creature, the postpartum period is their most vulnerable state. The poachers capitalized on her extreme weakness.”
He frowned, deep in thought. “But… Frostblade Snow Leopards are fiercely territorial. When they are due to give birth, they seek out the most secure, hidden depths of their domain. It should have been virtually impossible for poachers to stumble upon her den at that exact moment.”
“Unless…” Professor Yang’s eyes widened as he looked at Su Wudeng. “Unless that area wasn’t her territory to begin with! She was forced out of her home, leaving her exposed to the hunters!”
The group gasped. “Because she was pregnant?!”
“She grew too weak to defend her territory from rivals and got chased out?”
“That makes perfect sense.”
But Zhong Huihui suddenly raised a hand. “Wait, what about the father? Shouldn’t he have been protecting her while she was vulnerable?”
Professor Yang shook his head. “In the wild, male snow leopards do not stay to rear the young. He is likely miles away, courting another female by now.”
Zhong Huihui gritted her teeth. “…Men!”
“But what is she going to do without a territory?” someone asked worriedly. “Especially with two newborn cubs… and she’s so badly injured…”
“It would be amazing if she decided to just stay here with us.”
Su Wudeng shared their concerns. The leopard had been brutalized by humans and was likely terrified of them. She wasn’t sure if Yingying would choose to stay at the clinic like Aihua had.
“I’ll go back into the Secret Realm later,” Su Wudeng promised. “I’ll investigate what happened to her original territory. If we can’t win it back for her, I’ll help her find a new, safe domain.”
The group nodded, though the worry lingered in the air.
“Alright,” Su Wudeng said, suddenly realizing her stomach was practically caved in from hunger. The single grilled fish from earlier had entirely worn off. “Let’s eat. You guys must be starving after all this stress.”
As soon as the words left her mouth, she noticed the entire room staring at her in dead silence.
Su Wudeng blinked. “Why are you looking at me like that? I don’t carry the nutrient solutions on me.”
Zhong Huihui swallowed hard, a desperate look in her eyes. “Um… Boss… when we were watching your livestream… we saw you grilling that fish. It looked incredible.”
“We haven’t been able to stop thinking about that smell!” Lei Jing added fervently. “We were wondering… could we…”
They were staring at her like a pack of starving wolves.
“Please, Boss! We’ll pay in credits! Name your price! Just one bite is all we ask!”
Su Wudeng was speechless. “Alright, alright. I actually brought some back specifically for you guys. I was planning to grill them for dinner anyway.”
Honestly, after tasting real food again, the thought of drinking a bland nutrient solution made her want to gag. It was true what they said: it’s easy to go from rags to riches, but impossible to go back!
She pulled out her portable grilling station, and the group immediately sat down in a perfect, obedient circle, watching her every move with rapt attention.
The flames licked the seasoned meat, the skin sizzled, and a mouth-watering aroma instantly filled the room.
“That’s it! That’s the smell!” Uncle Lan took a deep, intoxicated breath, his eyes fluttering shut.
When Su Wudeng began sprinkling the spices over the crackling fish, the smell became so intoxicating that the group looked ready to lose their minds.
Seeing their drooling faces, Su Wudeng laughed. “I didn’t bring a massive haul back, so you each get one whole fish to start.”
“A whole one?! Yes!” They cheered wildly. They had been prepared to split a single fish just to get a taste!
The moment the fish came off the grill, Zhong Huihui took a massive bite. Her eyes widened into saucers. “Oh my god! This is the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten!”
Professor Yang savored his bite slowly, practically weeping. “It feels like my dead taste buds have been resurrected. The meat is tender and juicy, the seasoning is flawless, and the sear is absolute perfection!”
Lei Jing was far less elegant, tearing into his meal. “The skin is so crispy! One word: Masterpiece!”
Uncle Lan took one bite, froze, and immediately wrapped the rest of his fish up to take home for Coco to try.
The others devoured theirs in seconds, leaving nothing but clean bones. They sat back, licking their lips and savoring the lingering aroma in the air.
“Grilled fish is the pinnacle of culinary achievement!”
Watching their blissful, exaggerated reactions, Su Wudeng thought to herself, If this blew their minds, wait until they try roasted pine nuts… I should go harvest some from those squirrels!
At the Planetary Management Bureau, inside the Executive Officer’s suite.
Chu Feng was frantically sorting through a massive pile of advanced medical supplies. A large holographic screen hovered over his desk, replaying the VOD of Su Wudeng’s livestream.
Lin Yue sat across from him, her long legs propped up on his desk. She took a slow sip of her nutrient solution, a teasing glint in her eyes. “Didn’t you just say the snow leopard was a lost cause? Why are you packing a whole pharmacy?”
She found Chu Feng’s stubborn optimism highly amusing.
Chu Feng shot her a glare. “This is our first time officially meeting the Planet Master. We need to show our sincerity. Besides… that snow leopard really is pitiful.”
Both of their expressions darkened as they thought of the poachers. To brazenly hunt a Commander-level beast within the Planet Master’s domain was an act of pure arrogance.
Chu Feng sighed heavily. “You’re still worried about the leopard, but we should be worrying about ourselves. The new Planet Master holds a terrifying secret. By claiming this world, she has effectively put a massive target on our backs.”
How many shadowy factions were already eyeing their Level-4 planet? They didn’t even want to think about it.
Lin Yue tossed her empty bottle, sinking it perfectly into the trash can across the room. “Then we prepare for war. But honestly, I doubt the Planet Master is defenseless. She clearly has a massive force backing her. And if you think about it… isn’t this the opportunity of a lifetime?”
In many ways, it was. A mysterious Shop Owner with access to an untouched, top-tier Secret Realm had chosen their planet to set up shop. It was a godsend. If they played their cards right, their humble Level-4 planet could leap straight to Level-1 status!
Chu Feng wasn’t nearly as optimistic. “Nothing is ever that easy.” He paused, his tone shifting. “Have they breached the perimeter?”
Lin Yue’s playful demeanor vanished. “Yeah. Like rats in the gutter, they swarmed the moment they smelled blood. We need to move fast. If they disturb the Planet Master, it’s our heads on the chopping block.”
Chu Feng frowned deeply. “This is going to be a brutal fight. They’re one of the top-ranked mercenary outfits in the galaxy. Whoever hired them spared no expense.”
Thinking of the impending battle, Chu Feng felt a heavy weight settle in his gut. Against an enemy of this caliber, their local planetary defense forces were going to suffer heavy casualties.
If things go south, he thought grimly, I’ll have no choice but to beg General Chu for backup.
Back at the Pet Love Home, Su Wudeng was slumped ungracefully on the sofa, rubbing her stuffed belly.
Suddenly, Amber came sprinting down the hall, his claws scrabbling frantically against the floorboards as he failed to brake, sliding into the living room. Woof! Master, come quick! The snow leopard is awake!
Su Wudeng blinked in surprise. “Already?”
She leaped off the couch and hurried toward the ICU.
Pushing the door open, she saw that the snow leopard had indeed opened her eyes. Aihua the husky was sitting loyally by the bedside, seemingly having a quiet conversation with her.
Hearing the door open, Aihua turned and gave a happy yip. “Sister! I already explained everything to Yingying! I told her you saved her and that you’re a good person!”
“Yingying? Is that her name?” Su Wudeng chuckled. Such a massive, majestic predator having a cute name like Yingying was surprisingly endearing.
Su Wudeng’s gaze shifted to the bed. The leopard was still heavily bandaged, lying perfectly still. Her beautiful, crystalline gray eyes were locked onto Su Wudeng.
Su Wudeng’s breath hitched. Those eyes are gorgeous. They were the color of mist and smoke, so clear and pure it looked like a reflection of glacial ice.
Perhaps still hazy from the anesthesia and blood loss, Yingying’s gaze held a trace of confusion.
Su Wudeng’s heart melted. She walked over slowly and sat down on the edge of the bed. “Hi, Yingying. How are you feeling? Are you in a lot of pain?”
Yingying stared deeply into Su Wudeng’s eyes.
Rumble… Thank you… for saving my babies.
Yingying shifted her weight, trying to push herself up.
Su Wudeng panicked, quickly pressing her hands gently against the leopard’s uninjured shoulders. “Whoa, don’t move! You’ll tear your stitches!”
Yingying stopped trying to rise. Instead, she stretched her massive head forward and firmly nuzzled her cheek into Su Wudeng’s palm. She pressed her face deep into the human’s hand, a deep, rumbling purr vibrating in her throat. As she sniffed her savior, her warm breath tickled Su Wudeng’s skin.
Then, slowly, Yingying lifted her massive, unbandaged front paw into the air. She began slowly flexing her toes, extending and retracting her sharp claws as she kneaded the air—making biscuits.
Her paws were easily twice the size of Su Wudeng’s hands. Unable to resist the temptation, Su Wudeng gently wrapped her hands around the massive paw, massaging the plush toe beans. They were thick, soft, and incredibly warm.
As she rubbed the paw, Yingying’s eyes fluttered shut in absolute bliss.
With her other hand, Su Wudeng reached up and began scratching the soft spot behind Yingying’s round, fuzzy ears. The leopard’s ears twitched happily at the touch.
Su Wudeng was screaming internally.
Oh my god! I’m actually petting a giant snow leopard!
The softness! The warmth! The sheer volume of fluff! She couldn’t handle it. She was rapidly turning into a hopeless fluff-addict.
Unfortunately, Yingying’s body was still at its limit. After a few minutes of affection, the exhaustion pulled her back under, and she fell into a deep, healing sleep.
Su Wudeng reluctantly pulled her hands away, tucking the blanket around her. “Sleep well, Yingying. You’re going to be okay.”
Despite being brutally hunted by humans and nearly losing her children, this incredible creature had still chosen to trust her.
Su Wudeng’s heart swelled with fierce protectiveness. “Everything is going to be fine.”
The moment Su Wudeng stepped out of the ICU, blaring red text flashed across her vision.
[WARNING: HOSTILE ACTIVITY DETECTED IN PERIMETER!]
Startled, she immediately pulled up the System’s surveillance map. A dozen red dots were crawling toward her clinic like a line of venomous ants. A sidebar displayed their tracked movements over the past few hours:
Landed on the planet via stealth shuttle… actively bypassed orbital security… avoided civilian sectors… took a winding, untraceable route… converging on a single target.
Su Wudeng’s eyes narrowed. “Their target is the Pet Love Home. They’re coming for me.”
Along with their GPS tracking, the System had intercepted their comms channels. Su Wudeng tapped the audio logs.
“Boss, are we really just going to breach and kidnap the Shop Owner? Isn’t that a little reckless?”
“What are you afraid of? We’re a top-tier merc squad! We run ops on Level-3 planets. Grabbing a shopkeep on a backwater Level-4 rock is a walk in the park.”
“But… she controls a massive Secret Realm. She has to have crazy automated defenses, right? Plus, that husky of hers looks like a heavy hitter.”
“Are you seriously pissing your pants over a pet shop owner? If she had real backing, she wouldn’t be slumming it on this dirtball planet.”
“I checked the local garrison. The best mechanical pets on this planet couldn’t even scratch our gear. We’ve poured billions of credits into our twelve combat mechs. We are unstoppable here.”
“As for the husky… it’s a living, breathing animal. Living things have biological weaknesses. We just gas the room with neurotoxins!”
“Then we strip the Secret Realm, sell all her rare pets on the black market, and retire like kings!”
Listening to these thugs casually discuss kidnapping her, poisoning Aihua, and selling her rescues into slavery, Su Wudeng’s blood ran cold. A terrifyingly dark aura rolled off her.
“So, you want to kidnap me?” she whispered, her voice dangerously quiet. “You’ve chosen the fast track to hell. Since you’re so eager to die, I’ll happily buy your tickets!”
Meanwhile, two blocks down from the Pet Love Home.
Chu Feng and Lin Yue were huddled behind a barricade, coordinating their final strike against the approaching mercenaries.
“All squads, report in!” Chu Feng barked into his headset, his brow slick with sweat.
He had every right to be nervous. They were up against apex predators of the mercenary underworld. This was a do-or-die situation.
Voices crackled back over the comms.
“Heavy artillery locked on target!”
“EMP disruptors fully charged and standing by!”
Finally, Lin Yue’s calm, icy voice joined the channel. “The S-10000 Siege Mecha is primed and ready.”
Chu Feng took a steadying breath. “Excellent. Everyone, hold for my mark.”
He stared at the radar displaying the mercenaries’ advancing positions. The enemy was heavily armed, and each merc was flanked by a top-tier mechanical combat pet. By comparison, the local security forces were bringing knives to a gunfight. But this was all they had.
He glanced at Lin Yue. She flashed him a grim smile and a thumbs-up.
If their trap failed, Lin Yue would pilot the siege mecha into a suicide run to buy the Planet Master time to escape. Chu Feng turned off his microphone, whispering a vow he hoped he’d live to keep. “Damn it. If we survive this, I am officially retiring.”
He toggled the comms back on. “On my mark. Three… Two… One… Execute!”
Inside the clinic, Su Wudeng had already selected the twelve mercenaries on her System interface.
She clicked her tongue in annoyance. She had no idea who had hired them, and the System only gave her the option to ‘Expel’ trespassers, not execute them outright.
As she prepared to hit the button, a sub-menu popped up.
[Select Expulsion Method:]
1. Biological Expulsion
2. Complete Expulsion
“System, what’s the difference?” she asked.
[Biological Expulsion: Teleports only the living biological entities off-world. All inorganic matter, including clothing, weapons, and mechanical items, will be left behind.]
[Complete Expulsion: Teleports the biological entities along with all carried equipment.]
Su Wudeng’s eyes lit up like a supernova.
“Wait… so if I choose Biological Expulsion… they get teleported away, and I get to keep all their billions of credits worth of top-tier gear?!”
She grinned wickedly, her mind racing with the possibilities. If this is how it works, I should start baiting mercenaries for loot! It’s basically free money!
“System! Execute Biological Expulsion immediately!”
[Ding! Biological Expulsion successful.]
Outside, the elite mercenaries were creeping up to the clinic’s perimeter, weapons raised, ready to breach.
Suddenly, the world around them blurred. In the blink of an eye, the humid night air was replaced by total, freezing darkness.
“Wait, where the hell is my mech?!” one of the mercs screamed, realizing he was suddenly completely naked. “My guns are gone!” another shrieked. “Where are we?! Why is it so cold?!”
“Ah! I can’t breathe!”
“Help! Help—!”
Their screams were instantly silenced by the vacuum of deep space.
Back in the living room, a massive pile of pristine, high-tech weaponry and twelve heavily armored mechanical combat pets materialized out of thin air, clattering onto the floor.
Su Wudeng looked at her newly acquired loot, practically cackling with glee.
“Look at the matte finish on these guns! The titanium plating on these mechs! This is some premium quality gear!”
Just as she was admiring a particularly massive plasma rifle, a deafening string of explosions rocked the neighborhood. The windows of the clinic rattled violently.
Su Wudeng jumped out of her skin. “What the hell?!”
She sprinted to the front door and threw it open.
Down the street, flames were licking the sky, and heavy artillery was still pounding an empty stretch of pavement into dust.
Su Wudeng stood on her porch, utterly bewildered. “Who the hell is setting off fireworks outside my house?!”
A block away, Chu Feng and Lin Yue were staring at the smoking crater where the mercenaries were supposed to be.
The street was completely empty.
“Uh… where did they go?” Chu Feng asked blankly, lowering his binoculars. “Did they retreat?”
“Impossible,” a comms officer replied.
“We have every exit locked down. Nothing got past us.”
“Did we… vaporize them?” Chu Feng asked hopefully. “Has our artillery gotten that much better?”
The radar technician sounded completely baffled. “Sir, I’ve lost all biometric and mechanical signatures. It’s like… they just ceased to exist.”
Lin Yue lowered her weapon, her mind racing. Then, through the smoke, she spotted Su Wudeng standing on the porch of the clinic, looking perfectly fine.
A terrifyingly bold theory formed in her head. She swallowed hard. “Chu Feng… is it possible that the Planet Master handled this herself?”
The two executives stared at each other, profound shock written across their faces. It sounded impossible, but it was the only explanation that made any sense!
“Do you think she detected them before we did?” Lin Yue whispered. “And just… erased them?”
Chu Feng was speechless. Before he could process the sheer magnitude of that thought, he noticed Su Wudeng waving at them from her porch.
Chu Feng stiffened. “She sees us!”
Su Wudeng had indeed seen them. The System had quickly flagged the two heavily armed individuals down the street, identifying them as Chu Feng and Lin Yue, the planetary executives.
Piecing it together, she realized they must have detected the mercenaries and launched a preemptive strike to protect her clinic.
Seeing that they had been spotted, Chu Feng and Lin Yue holstered their weapons and jogged over to the porch.
As they approached, Su Wudeng’s eyes lit up in appreciation.
Wow, they are gorgeous!
Chu Feng was strikingly handsome with a sharp, commanding aura, while Lin Yue was stunning, boasting an incredibly fierce presence and legs that went on for days.
She puffed out her chest with pride. As expected! Only the best, most attractive executives for my planet!
Chu Feng stopped at the base of the stairs. He smoothly dropped to one knee, placing a hand over his heart in a flawless, aristocratic salute.
“Honored Planet Master, it is a privilege to finally stand before you,” his voice was deep, magnetic, and completely devoid of his usual cynicism. He looked up at her with a gaze of burning, absolute conviction.
“I am Chu Feng, the Planetary Executive. It is the greatest honor of my life to serve you. I solemnly swear upon my life that I will do everything in my power to protect you and the safety of this world, even if it means my death!” He bowed his head. “I offer my absolute loyalty to you!”
Su Wudeng clasped her hands over her heart, genuinely moved by the dramatic declaration. “Aww, Chu Feng, that is so sweet of you!”
Lin Yue: “…?”
She stared at her partner, completely dumbfounded.
Did this shameless bastard really just say all that?!
