Chapter 251: Strange Arrival 18 (End)
Lu Qingyuan hugged Chu Yian and took two deep breaths, then gradually fell silent. Only the TV and her breathing could be heard in the room.
Chu Yian didn’t dare to move.
She stared intently at the clock in front of her, watching the second hand move in circles.
Meanwhile, outside…
Sinister energy descended everywhere.
A group of players who planned to counter-kill the anomalies were gathering when they were suddenly enveloped by black mist. Before they could even react, only a few puddles of foul-smelling blood remained on the ground.
“Heh, a bunch of idiots. I’m not going to risk it.”
At this moment, a player was holding his phone, scoffing at the messages calling for a gathering, when a black mist, without warning, devoured him.
In just half an hour…
This scenario played out on the streets, in restaurants, in temples, indoors… in various places. The players who had joined the group chat were gradually being killed by the black mist.
Each time someone died, their nickname and avatar in the group would turn gray.
“What’s going on? Why is the group so quiet today?”
“Where are all those bigshots who were just live-streaming their counter-kills? Why are so many avatars in the group grayed out?”
“Damn, something feels off.”
The number of people in the group dwindled, and the remaining members grew increasingly uneasy. Until only a few people were left in the group, someone suddenly sent a message, “Quick, leave the group! You’ll die if you stay in this group!”
Then, that person’s avatar also turned gray.
Seeing this, the survivors, whether they believed it or not, began to leave the group. But could leaving the group guarantee their safety?
No.
Everyone who had participated in the group chat was found by the anomalies through the internet cable.
In the rented room…
Zhu Shen hid in the living room, fearfully wrapping himself in a quilt. An extremely terrifying and dangerous feeling swept over him, and he looked at the front door in horror.
Black sinister energy gathered at the doorway, and the Bagua mirror reflected a faint golden light, barely hindering the invasion of the sinister energy.
It didn’t take long.
The Bagua mirror shattered.
The crisp sound startled Zhu Shen, and his body trembled like a sieve.
And then… there was no ‘then’.
Everyone who had joined the GY group chat, regardless of their previous identity as a player or an NPC, was now a dead person. They didn’t even know who killed them, only to be devoured by the anomalies in their final moments.
Chu Yian didn’t know that she was the only survivor who had joined the GY group chat.
And the anomaly behind her, after closing his eyes for an hour, opened his pitch-black eyes.
His favorite prey would be saved for last.
Lu Qingyuan lowered his head and bit Chu Yian’s earlobe.
Cold lips, hard teeth. Fear instantly magnified this sensation several times over. Chu Yian looked at the countdown timer; only twenty minutes remained.
Only twenty minutes left. Couldn’t he wait a little longer?
“Teacher Lu, are you going to eat me now?”
Chu Yian turned around, placing her hand on his chest, constantly thinking of ways to stall for time. “Didn’t you promise me you’d watch the match to the end?”
The anomaly, whose hands were stained with blood, looked at his last prey. “I didn’t promise.”
Chu Yian was momentarily speechless.
“Then can I finish the wine on the table? It’s something you painstakingly made; it would be such a waste not to finish it.”
Chu Yian reached out and poured a glass. After thinking for a moment, she handed the cup to Lu Qingyuan’s mouth.
The boss-level anomaly originally intended to directly enjoy his favorite prey, but seeing the extended wine glass, he felt that her initiative was even more captivating. He slightly parted his lips, letting her feed the wine into his mouth.
“Is it good?”
Chu Yian looked at him.
“What do you think?”
Lu Qingyuan retorted.
Of course, it’s his own mixed wine; how could it not be good?
Chu Yian wanted to go find some peanuts for Lu Qingyuan to have a heart-to-heart talk over drinks. But then she suddenly remembered that Lu Qingyuan’s room probably didn’t have any ready-made snacks for drinking.
If she reminded him now, he might just treat her as the dish.
Skip the snacks, go straight to the heart-to-heart.
Chu Yian filled both glasses with wine, one for him, one for herself. The wine was poured, but she suddenly couldn’t find a topic. She looked at Lu Qingyuan expectantly, thinking for a long time. “Teacher Lu, shall we… have another round?”
One glass, two glasses.
Chu Yian’s mind was completely blank for topics until the wine barrel was almost empty, and she could no longer clearly see the time on the clock hanging on the wall. She became limp, almost sliding off the sofa onto the floor.
Lu Qingyuan picked her up and leaned close to her ear.
“I’m going to eat you.”
His voice was deep and pleasant, yet it was like a devil’s whisper.
Hearing this, Chu Yian’s body trembled involuntarily. What followed was the anger and grievance hidden in her heart, stimulated by the strong liquor.
“Teacher Lu, I trusted you so much, yet you want to eat me.”
“I used to think you were the best partner, and you actually want to eat me!”
“You… if you eat me, I’ll eat you too!”
As the saying goes, liquor emboldens the timid.
Chu Yian let out a howl and pounced on Lu Qingyuan, opening her mouth and biting his neck.
It was cold.
But apart from his body temperature, Lu Qingyuan’s skin was no different from an ordinary person’s. Her strength was not light; after biting down, she quickly broke Lu Qingyuan’s skin.
Unfortunately, anomalies don’t have blood.
Chu Yian sucked hard twice, only feeling like she had inhaled a bellyful of cold air, with a hint of sandalwood scent.
What perfume did Lu Qingyuan use? It had even marinated him. She vaguely thought, then opened her mouth and bit his moving Adam’s apple.
There was no pain.
Lu Qingyuan felt a surge of pleasure spread from his neck throughout his body, making him tremble.
He hugged his prey, whom he was reluctant to eat, clamped her chin, and kissed her deeply. He let her bite his lips, chase his tongue, until her face turned red from holding her breath, and her breathing became rapid.
He kissed her bewildered eyes, his tongue gently licking her eyelids.
Chu Yian finally managed to open her eyes, looking at the anomaly in front of her. She abruptly pushed him onto the sofa, then hugged his waist and rolled onto the floor.
With a thud.
They both fell heavily to the ground.
Chu Yian reached out and grabbed his tie, pulling it off with force.
Lu Qingyuan lay beneath her, watching her lean down and grab his wrists. There was a significant size difference between them, yet he allowed her to tie his hands with his tie.
“Hehehe, I… I’d like to see how you’re going to eat me.”
Chu Yian let out a smug, sinister laugh, then stood up and staggered to the wall where the clock was hung, trying hard to open her eyes and check the current time.
She couldn’t see clearly.
She strained her eyes and shook her head, but still couldn’t even make out the numbers on the clock.
Meanwhile, the anomaly she had pinned to the floor got up.
Lu Qingyuan grabbed Chu Yian’s wrists, trapped her using her own method, and then pressed her tightly against the wall. He lowered his head and bit her earlobe again, a gentle squeeze bringing out a bead of blood.
His tongue licked the blood bead.
“According to the rules, I should eat you.”
