Road Survival: My Hearse Comes with Purification – CH129

Blueprint Plan

Chapter 129: Blueprint Plan

Early the next morning, Brother He Ping and the Young Miss used Teleportation Talismans to reach Lin Huai’s highway.

The three vehicles linked together, driving down the road in a neat line like a train. The Young Miss’s RV and Brother He Ping’s broadcast information vehicle were both still at Level 4. Naturally, Lin Huai’s Level 6 hearse took the lead, towing them effortlessly forward.

As soon as the two arrived, they spotted the blood jade coffin floating above Lin Huai’s vehicle and stared in awe. Once the vehicles were securely connected, they eagerly boarded Lin Huai’s hearse, excited to take a good look around.

Lin Huai led them up to the second-floor panoramic glass room. Inviting them to sit on the comfortable sofa, she used her nearby coffee machine to grind and brew a fresh cup of coffee for each of them.

Seeing Lin Huai’s fully equipped living space, even the Young Miss was stunned. “Boss, your place is far too luxurious! It makes me feel like my RV still needs a lot of upgrades!”

Brother He Ping took a sip of his coffee, a look of pure intoxication spreading across his face. “Ah, this is simply life-saving. It’s been three months, and my coffee-addicted stomach has finally come back to life!”

The Young Miss looked at him curiously. “Are you from Shanghai?”

Brother He Ping shook his head. “My official residence isn’t in Shanghai, but my law firm was based there, so I consider myself half-Shanghainese.” A hint of nostalgia crept into his voice. “When I worked at the firm, a cup of iced Americano every morning was standard for every lawyer. I drank it for years and got completely used to it. To be honest, when I first entered this survival game, I actually had withdrawal symptoms from the lack of coffee.”

Lin Huai laughed and pointed at the coffee machine. “If you like it so much, it’s yours. I also have a few bags of coffee beans I can give you. But once they’re gone, you’ll have to find a way to buy more yourself.”

Brother He Ping adjusted his glasses and rubbed his hands together nervously. “How can I just accept this… Boss, are you really giving it to me? I can trade some materials for it!”

It was rare to see Brother He Ping want something so badly, so Lin Huai gave a firm nod. “Yes, I’m really giving it to you. Just trade me a few materials, whatever you see fit. I don’t really like coffee anyway. Today is actually the first time I’ve used the machine, simply because I thought you two might enjoy it.”

Lin Huai was very traditional, and her daily habits reflected classic Chinese customs. “Compared to coffee, I much prefer a good cup of tea.” As she spoke, she raised a delicate celadon teacup, took a slow sip, and placed it back on the table with a crisp clink.

The Young Miss nodded repeatedly. “Boss, you really know how to enjoy life!”

After chatting casually for a while, the three shifted to serious business.

The Young Miss took out her preliminary business blueprint. “Boss, look. This is my initial plan. I intend to quietly infiltrate other districts with our teammates every few days to buy and sell materials in bulk. We’ll start from District 01, Zone 001, and go through them one by one. As long as we move fast enough, we won’t get caught.”

She pointed to the later stages of the document. “Right now, we can’t establish stable, long-term trade with other zones, but that doesn’t mean we have to remain small-time merchants doing hit-and-run deals. Whenever we visit a zone to trade, we will also scout for reliable local partners to act as our agents.

“Once we have agents in place, we can just deliver the goods to them at wholesale prices on our next trip. This drastically cuts down the time we spend in foreign territory—we just hand over the inventory and leave right away. This also solves the problem of our player IDs becoming too recognizable. I won’t even need to go in person; I can send Little Yellow or the Blue Knights. They can drop off the cargo and return immediately. By rotating our couriers, we prevent anyone from locking onto us.”

Lin Huai nodded in agreement. She had only formed a vague idea about cross-zone trading, but she hadn’t considered a long-term solution like establishing a network of local agents. Hearing the detailed plan, she couldn’t help but feel impressed.

“As expected of a true heiress from the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region! Your business mind is incredibly sharp,” Lin Huai praised. “Out of everyone in our squad, you are definitely the most suited for negotiations and commerce. You might have to work a bit harder in the early stages to recruit these agents across the different zones. But as for the logistics of cargo transport and security, you can leave that entirely to me!”

The Young Miss had known Lin Huai would support her idea. While she hadn’t interacted directly with leaders from other zones, she had heard stories from players absorbed during server merges. Most leaders absolutely refused to let their team members outshine them. Those leaders cared far more about maintaining their absolute authority and supreme prestige. They would never admit that a subordinate was smarter or more capable than they were. In fact, they often viewed truly excellent players as threats to their leadership, targeting them for elimination.

But Lin Huai was completely different. She didn’t care if her teammates outshone her in certain areas. Judging by how she supported Milk Tea, she genuinely wanted every member of her squad to become the absolute best in their respective fields. Because of this open-mindedness, the Young Miss felt safe expressing all her ideas, whether they were fully polished or not.

Brother He Ping clearly felt the same way. He spoke up candidly: “Boss, the main difficulty with cross-zone intelligence gathering is that I can’t just develop local agents to do my job. If I stay in a foreign district for too long, or repeatedly travel in and out of the same zone, I’ll definitely be exposed. Most zones probably don’t know who I am yet, but after we encounter more people in the upcoming Ten-Zone United instance, I’ll become much more recognizable. That will make information collection incredibly risky. Furthermore, my vehicle is already at a high level. Driving it into smaller zones would draw far too much attention.”

Lin Huai nodded. She was well aware of these issues. In her previous life, cross-district intelligence had almost exclusively been handled through undercover operatives. “I can train more undercover agents to infiltrate those zones. When the time comes, you’ll just need to compile and analyze the intelligence they send back. That should save you a lot of trouble.”

However, Brother He Ping pushed up his glasses, his expression turning serious and determined. “The undercover method you mentioned is definitely the best solution for now. However, I believe my vehicle can bring us some unexpected advantages. Therefore, I would like to ask you, Boss, to prioritize my vehicle for the next round of upgrades.”

Brother He Ping was slightly worried that Lin Huai might reject his request to balance the overall needs of the squad. He also knew perfectly well that making such a bold demand would be seen as a power grab by any other leader, likely marking him for death. But he truly believed Lin Huai’s leadership style was different.

So, he pressed on, determined to persuade her. “Boss, I’ve analyzed the potential upgrade paths for my vehicle. Beyond basic information gathering like broadcasting and monitoring, I strongly believe it will evolve into an electronic warfare platform in the future. It will function like a military communications vehicle from the old world—capable of jamming enemy drone frequencies, spoofing navigation systems, and even disabling hostile autonomous driving modules. Anything relying on digital information or electronics would be entirely at our mercy.”
