Chapter 36: V50 Listen to the Sequel of Revenge!
Chu Feng noticed Lin Yue standing there dumbfounded and quickly winked at her.
“The Planet Master is this powerful! What are you waiting for? Time to secure the bag!”
He had taken the initiative to kneel first, claiming the highest honor.
Lin Yue instantly caught his drift. A Planet Master of this caliber could only bring unimaginable prosperity and development to their world.
She stepped forward, dropping into a deep, respectful bow. “Respected Planet Master, I am Lin Yue. I, too, am willing to serve you!”
Su Wudeng hastily waved her hands, slightly embarrassed by their sudden display of fealty. “Okay, okay, there’s no need to be so formal. Let’s just keep working together as we have been.”
“You two must have been incredibly busy,” she continued. “Those mercenaries who never made it to my doorstep—you guys dealt with them, didn’t you?”
Chu Feng rubbed the back of his neck, looking a bit sheepish. He cautiously tested the waters, “To be perfectly honest, if you hadn’t taken action this time… things wouldn’t have gone nearly as smoothly.”
Su Wudeng didn’t deny it. “You both did well. Don’t sell yourselves short.”
Hearing her tacit confirmation, Chu Feng and Lin Yue simultaneously let out a massive sigh of relief.
The two executives exchanged a joyous look. It really was the Planet Master who wiped them out! With an overlord this powerful, their planet’s golden age was guaranteed!
Su Wudeng pondered for a moment. If she was going to seriously develop this planet, she would absolutely need capable subordinates like them. It was time to sit down and restructure the planet’s administration and personnel.
But right now, a more pressing matter came to mind.
“By the way, my younger sister is arriving soon. Could you send someone to the spaceport to pick her up? I need to start a livestream and can’t leave the clinic. If I don’t give the internet an update on the snow leopards soon, they might actually riot and march on my front door!”
Chu Feng blinked in surprise, instantly recalling the data file on the Planet Master’s family. “She does have a sister studying at Capital Beast University. But it’s summer break—shouldn’t she be in a special training camp right now? Why is she coming home?”
He kept the question to himself, simply nodding. “Don’t worry, Lin Yue and I will personally go pick her up.”
“You two are going yourselves?” Su Wudeng was taken aback. “There’s no need for that. Just send a subordinate. Don’t go through so much trouble.”
Chu Feng and Lin Yue exchanged a serious glance. “You are the Planet Master now. Your status is extraordinary. Your sister is VIP royalty on this planet. It’s only fitting that we escort her personally.”
“Besides,” Lin Yue added, “you’ve already been targeted by elite mercenaries. We cannot take your sister’s safety lightly.”
Su Wudeng considered their point. While she could just instantly teleport any attackers into the void using the System, Chu Feng and Lin Yue didn’t know that.
She didn’t insist. “Alright, thank you for your hard work.”
The executives beamed. “It’s no trouble at all! We’ll head out right now and bring her straight to you, safe and sound!”
Watching the two capable executives leave, Su Wudeng couldn’t help but sigh in relief. It really is nice having competent people to handle the busywork. If she had to go to the spaceport, manage a massive livestream, and monitor the snow leopards all by herself, she’d lose her mind.
These two are excellent. I’ll definitely have to groom them for higher positions later. The amount of trouble they would save her was immeasurable!
Without wasting any more time, Su Wudeng hurried back inside the Pet Love Home to set up her broadcast. She needed to capitalize on this window of free time to update her viewers, as she would be swamped later.
The moment she turned on the stream, millions of viewers flooded in like a tidal wave.
Having learned from their previous sudden blackouts, the viewers frantically spammed their questions before the stream could cut out again.
“Shop Owner Su! You’re finally live! How is the mother leopard?!”
“Are the babies okay? Is it critical?!”
“What about those poachers? Did you catch them?!”
Su Wudeng chuckled, overwhelmed by the sheer volume of text flying across the screen. “Wow, I didn’t expect everyone to have so many questions.”
“Don’t worry, today’s stream is specifically to give you all a proper update on the snow leopard family.”
Her gentle, soothing voice instantly calmed the frantic chat.
“Ah, my wife is so gentle! Take your time, don’t rush!”
“What do you mean your wife? She’s my wife!”
“Back off, she belongs to the people!”
Su Wudeng laughed out loud. “Alright, alright, stop arguing. Let me answer your questions first. The most important thing is… the mother snow leopard is safe! She survived the surgery and is currently resting.”
“And the little cubs are perfectly healthy! So please, don’t worry.”
The chat erupted into virtual cheers.
“I knew Shop Owner Su could do it!”
“Wuwuwu, my poor leopard! Thank god she survived!”
“I’ve been so anxious I couldn’t even eat!”
Looking at the outpouring of relief, Su Wudeng felt a warm glow in her chest.
“By the way,” she continued, her tone softening, “I saw the mountain of packages you all sent to the clinic. Honestly, I’m deeply moved. I didn’t expect so many of you to care so deeply for a mother and her cubs that you’ve never even met. On their behalf, thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
A hint of helplessness crept into her smile. “However, the clinic is fully stocked with all of these supplies. Please, you don’t need to spend your hard-earned money on this. I appreciate the thought, but don’t buy any more! I’ll be donating the excess supplies to local animal charities. Your love for the leopards will definitely be put to good use.”
God knew how overwhelmed she had been seeing that mountain of boxes. It was so massive that she and Zhong Huihui could never have opened them all manually. She’d had to employ the mechanical Othello Octopus just to sort the deliveries!
The viewers immediately flooded the chat with understanding messages.
“Understood! Since the wife says stop, we stop!”
“Yes ma’am! Whatever you say!”
Su Wudeng picked up the camera. “You guys are so well-behaved. As a reward, let me take you to see the babies~”
She walked softly down the hall to the nursery. The camera smoothly panned into the room, revealing the tiny cubs curled up inside the glowing incubator.
“They’re incredibly small,” she whispered, keeping her voice barely above a breath. “What they need most right now is sleep.”
On screen, the two little snow leopards were sleeping soundly, their tiny bellies rising and falling in perfect unison. Their fur was incredibly soft and fluffy, stark white dotted with pale gray rosettes.
The larger cub was fast asleep with his mouth slightly open, a tiny drop of drool hanging from his lip.
The smaller sister seemed a bit warm. She stretched out in her sleep, waving her tiny paws in the air as if trying to catch invisible butterflies.
Su Wudeng’s eyes sparkled. She immediately zoomed in on the little sister.
The cub stretched her entire body, exposing her incredibly soft, plush white belly. Her tiny pink nose twitched, and her oversized paws flexed lazily in her sleep.
The chat absolutely lost its collective mind.
“AHHH!”
“The belly fluff! The little paws! The pink nose!”
“Too cute! It’s illegal to be this cute!”
“I need to pet it!”
“Someone call an ambulance, I’m dying from cuteness!”
Su Wudeng smirked. If they can’t handle this, they’re not ready for my ultimate move.
She smiled at the camera. “We managed to rescue these babies, but I couldn’t have done it without all of your help and guidance. So… would any of you like to be their godmothers and godfathers?”
The viewers practically exploded.
“WHAT?! GODMOTHER?! I CAN BE THEIR GODMOTHER?!”
“YES! YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES!”
“I’M NOT JUST A GODMOTHER, THESE ARE MY BABIES NOW!”
Su Wudeng watched the chat go supersonic. It worked perfectly! No one could resist the allure of claiming a fluffy baby as their own! Not even her!
The viewers were entirely swept up in the fantasy, dizzy with happiness. This was the true power of emotional value! They had helped her during the rescue, and now, with just a few sweet words, she had given them an immense sense of pride and ownership. It was a total win-win!
She leaned into the microphone. “Exactly. We saved this family together. It’s only fair that you all get the title of godparents, right?”
“YES! I AM OFFICIALLY A SNOW LEOPARD GODMOTHER!”
“I’m giggling so hard I can’t breathe!”
“My babies! Look at my beautiful babies!”
The livestream’s popularity skyrocketed. Within minutes, the hashtag #SnowLeopardGodmother shot to the number one spot on the planetary trending charts.
Netizens who hadn’t been following the stream clicked the hashtag in utter confusion.
“What the hell is a snow leopard godmother?”
“Is it that pet shop owner Su doing something crazy again?”
“Wait! What did I miss?!”
People just getting off work opened the trending videos, finding compilations edited by dedicated fans showcasing the entire rescue operation.
“Oh my god! Are you serious?!”
“I was only at work for a few hours! How did I miss all this?!”
“A giant snow leopard?!”
“Those poachers are absolute scum!”
“Thank god the Shop Owner was there! She’s a hero!”
“Hold my nutrient paste, I’m going to the stream to drop some tips!”
“Mama Leopard” tipped the streamer 10,000 credits! “Big Cats Rule” tipped the streamer 10,000 credits! “Death to Poachers” tipped the streamer 10,000 credits!
Su Wudeng watched the donation ticker spin like a slot machine. Hundreds of thousands of credits were pouring into her account in the blink of an eye. She hadn’t expected the stream to be this lucrative!
“Thank you all so much for the love,” she said quickly, “but seriously, no more donations! Save your money! As a final treat before I log off, I’ll take you to see the mother leopard so you know she’s okay!”
The chat instantly shifted back to praising her.
“Wife, I love you!”
“Such a beautiful, kind-hearted angel!”
“Yes! I’ve been waiting to see the mama!”
“I haven’t been able to stop thinking about her since that brief glimpse during the chase!”
“Big cats are just so unbelievably elegant…”
“Especially that massive, fluffy tail!”
Su Wudeng grinned. She also had a massive weak spot for the snow leopard’s insanely thick tail.
She quietly carried the camera into the ICU.
Yingying was awake, lying obediently on her recovery bed with a soft blanket draped over her lower half. Her regenerative abilities were proving to be just as freakish as Aihua the husky’s.
Sitting next to the bed was an incredibly eye-catching, perfectly round figure.
It was Aihua.
From the camera’s angle, the husky looked perfectly spherical. Her thick, plush fur puffed out in every direction, completely swallowing her neck. She looked like a giant, incredibly adorable, furry rice ball. It was glaringly obvious that she had been eating extremely well since arriving at the clinic.
The moment Aihua appeared on screen, the chat lost it again.
“AHHH! IT’S AIHUA! IT’S BEEN SO LONG!”
“Oh my god, Aihua and the snow leopard in the same frame?! What kind of blessed day is this?!”
“Aihua! Are you doing okay, girl? We missed you!”
Aihua’s sheer star power pushed the stream’s viewer count even higher. Su Wudeng shook her head in amusement. “Our resident superstar Aihua really is built different. Her appeal is unmatched.”
On screen, the two massive beasts seemed entirely engrossed in a deep conversation, completely oblivious to Su Wudeng’s arrival.
Yingying let out a low, rumbling chuff. “Ying! Awoo!”
Aihua’s blue eyes widened in shock. “Awoo?!”
The two predators began rapidly exchanging vocalizations.
The viewers were burning with curiosity.
“What are they talking about?”
“Are they exchanging parenting tips?”
“Are they talking about how great the Shop Owner is?”
“Look at their body language! The eye contact! The dramatic reactions!”
“This… this is definitely gossip!”
Su Wudeng blinked. Gossip?
Weren’t the viewers reading a bit too much into it? What kind of gossip could two beasts possibly have?
But as she watched them closely, she realized the viewers might be right.
Yingying’s expressions were wildly animated. She narrowed her eyes, then widened them dramatically, occasionally waving her massive, unbandaged paw in the air for emphasis.
Aihua nodded vigorously, occasionally slamming her paw against the edge of the bed in sheer outrage, as if validating Yingying’s points.
Wow… they really are gossiping!
Su Wudeng’s curiosity peaked. She silently tiptoed closer to listen in.
“You have no idea,” Yingying grumbled, gesturing wildly with a paw. “When I caught the two of them messing around, I just lost it!”
Aihua’s fluffy tail thumped against the floor.
“That treacherous male used my pregnancy as an excuse to go flirt with other females!” Yingying snarled, her voice thick with righteous anger. “I should have shredded him!”
Hearing this, Aihua slammed her paw against the mattress in solidarity. “Awoo!” Exactly! He deserved to be beaten!
“We carry their cubs and do all the hard work, and what do they do? They sneak out to find other females! They’re all trash!”
Yingying felt deeply validated by Aihua’s outrage. She had finally found a true confidant. “That’s exactly what I thought! Do you want to know what I did next?”
Aihua practically vibrated with anticipation. “What did you do?!”
“Hold on, my throat is dry. Let me get some water,” Yingying said, leaning over to lap from a bowl.
As she lifted her head, her gaze locked directly onto Su Wudeng.
Yingying froze. Her eyes went wide as saucers, completely losing their majestic, ethereal quality.
Ying! I’ve been caught!
Yingying was mortified. I was trying to look so elegant and brave for my savior! My image is completely ruined!
Su Wudeng was equally stunned.
A Commander-level Snow Leopard was spilling tea to her husky about a cheating baby-daddy!
This… this was way too absurd!
But then again… was it? Male snow leopards were notoriously solitary and rarely stuck around. It made sense that he would wander off while she was pregnant…
Before Su Wudeng could fully process the absurdity of beast-drama, Aihua spotted her and immediately waved a paw, inviting her over.
“Sister, come here! Yingying is telling me about her trash ex! He’s the worst!”
Su Wudeng hesitated. She had only caught the tail end of the story… Was it really appropriate for her to eavesdrop on a snow leopard’s relationship drama?
Her hesitation lasted exactly two seconds before the blazing fire of gossip consumed her soul. She hurried over and leaned in. “So, Yingying, what exactly did you do to them?!”
Yingying stared at her for a moment… before completely giving up on maintaining her majestic image. Whatever! Spilling the tea is more important!
Her eyes flared with dramatic intensity. “So, I finally got my chance…”
“The female he found was my neighbor. That treacherous bastard took advantage of my pregnancy to hook up with her!”
“One day, I was feeling incredibly sick from the cubs, so I couldn’t go out to hunt.”
“Because I was stuck in the den, that cheating bastard actually snuck her into my territory!”
“They literally brought their affair into my house!”
Su Wudeng gasped. The leopard world is this messy?!
“I was hiding in the back,” Yingying continued, her voice dropping to a dramatic whisper. “I watched them fooling around in my territory with my own eyes!”
“How could I let that slide?!”
“While they were completely distracted, I crept out and ambushed them!”
Yingying swung her massive paws, reenacting the strike.
Su Wudeng vividly pictured the scene: two snow leopards about to get intimate, suddenly terrified out of their minds as a furious, pregnant Yingying leaped out of the shadows to beat them senseless.
It was absolute cinema.
“That treacherous bastard is dead to me,” Yingying declared proudly.
Aihua’s eyes sparkled with awe. “Awoo!” Yingying, you are such a queen!
“And then what happened?” Su Wudeng asked, completely invested.
While Su Wudeng and Aihua were entirely captivated by the drama, the viewers in the livestream were losing their minds.
They watched their beloved Shop Owner pull up a chair, join the two beasts, and become so utterly absorbed in their conversation that she completely forgot she was holding a camera.
All the viewers could hear was a series of intense “Awoos” and “Yings”, having absolutely no idea what the hell was going on.
“What are they talking about?!”
“I can’t understand a single word! Streamer, point the camera back at the babies!”
“Stop talking! My heart can’t take it! Knowing there’s gossip but not being able to understand it is pure torture!”
“Wife! Did you forget about us?! I’m crying!”
“Our wife is the only one who speaks their language, and she’s keeping the tea all to herself!”
“AHHH! I need to know what they’re saying!”
“If I don’t get the context of this drama, I won’t be able to sleep tonight!”
The chat was moving at warp speed, filled with desperate demands for translation. But Su Wudeng was far too invested to look at her screen.
It wasn’t until her arm started to cramp from holding the camera that she remembered she was live.
Snapping back to reality, she looked down and saw a sea of furious accusations.
She hesitated. Should she translate the drama, or keep listening to the tea?
She chose the middle ground, quickly apologizing to the camera. “I’m so sorry, guys! I totally forgot you were there.”
“The gossip is just too juicy, I couldn’t help myself!”
“What did Yingying say? Well, she was telling us about her deadbeat ex!”
“He was absolute trash. He took advantage of her pregnancy to cheat on her with the neighbor!”
She rapidly summarized the story of the ambush in a few short sentences.
Then, she gave an apologetic smile. “Alright, that’s it for today’s stream! I’ll tell you the rest of the story after I finish listening to it offline. Bye!”
The chat instantly went nuclear.
“YOU’RE ENDING THE STREAM ON A CLIFFHANGER?!”
“WUWUWU! You shouldn’t have told me anything! Now I’m even more invested!”
“Wife, how could you be so cruel! I need to know what happens!”
“Don’t leave us! How am I supposed to live without closure!”
“I’M BEGGING FOR THE SEQUEL!”
Watching the chat melt down, and knowing Yingying was about to drop the climax of the story, Su Wudeng waved dismissively. “Okay, okay, I promise I’ll post the sequel later! Logging off now!”
She decisively killed the feed.
She quickly handed Aihua her bowl of warm milk, and gave Yingying hers.
Aihua took a massive gulp, completely satisfied. Yingying greedily lapped at her milk, clearing her throat before diving back into the story.
“So, after the ambush, that treacherous bastard proved he was completely useless in a fight!” Yingying’s eyes flashed with cold satisfaction. “But do you think I stopped there? Beating him up wasn’t nearly enough to satisfy my anger. So…”
“And then?!” Su Wudeng and Aihua leaned in, their eyes wide.
Meanwhile, Chu Feng and Lin Yue were piloting their transport shuttle toward the planetary spaceport.
“The Planet Master is truly terrifying,” Chu Feng sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Did you see how she did it?”
Lin Yue shook her head slowly. “I didn’t see a damn thing.”
“Those mercenaries didn’t just retreat—they vanished from existence without a trace. How did she pull that off? Just how powerful is she?”
“Could it be… some kind of restricted hyper-tech?” Lin Yue guessed. Though, she had never heard of technology capable of mass-erasing matter without an explosion. “Unlikely,” Chu Feng muttered. “Maybe it’s the ability of one of her pets? Records from the Prosperous Era state that high-tier Spirit Beasts possessed unimaginable powers. Mass teleportation or disintegration might not be impossible for them.”
The two exchanged a look of profound awe. Their Planet Master was an absolute powerhouse.
“But,” Lin Yue sighed heavily, “this won’t be the last attack. The syndicates will keep probing our defenses. We can’t just rely on the Planet Master to wipe them out every single time.”
“You’re right,” Chu Feng agreed grimly. “We can’t depend on her for everything. But our local defense forces are pathetically weak.”
It was a problem they couldn’t solve with willpower alone. Upgrading a planetary defense grid required astronomical amounts of time and credits.
Lin Yue stared out the window at the bleak, industrial landscape below. “It’s a tragedy that our planet is so poor. We don’t even have the budget to buy modern military-grade mechs.”
It was a sad reality that the vaunted S-10000 Siege Mecha—the pride of their planetary defense force—was an obsolete model that was several generations out of date.
The shuttle breached the cloud layer in heavy silence.
“Let’s not dwell on it,” Chu Feng said, forcing a change of topic. “I hear the Planet Master’s sister is a student at Capital Beast University.”
“The true elites of the galaxy,” Lin Yue murmured, a flash of envy in her eyes. “I heard that the Interstellar Peace Company custom-builds top-tier combat mechs specifically for the students of those academies. They’re insanely powerful.”
Chu Feng let out a long, depressed sigh. “And we’re right back to being broke again. When will it be our turn to be rich?”
Aboard a commercial star-liner, Su Yulan felt like the universe was playing an elaborate prank on her.
She scrolled through the planetary trending pages on her optical terminal. Every single top search was about her sister!
“I spent one week offline for medical treatments, and the whole world turned upside down?” she muttered to herself in disbelief.
Her screen was flooded with video clips of Su Wudeng: gently rescuing a Snow Crystal kitten, playing with a hyperactive husky pup, an iron-eating beast named Aihua watching cartoons on a tablet, and the heart-stopping footage of a crying snow leopard defending her cubs from poachers.
Her sister was at the center of it all!
She rubbed her eyes, half-expecting to wake up. “Is this really my sister?!”
She rescued the Snow Crystal kittens. She brought home the husky. She saved Aihua and Yingying!
Just how much had her sister accomplished while she was away?!
“Oh my god… what else is she hiding from me?”
Su Yulan felt like she had missed an entire season of her own life’s show.
“She’s actually this incredible now?”
“And those… those are real, living Spirit Beasts?!”
“She even controls a top-tier Secret Realm that rivals an S-Class domain!”
It suddenly made perfect sense how her sister had managed to procure those incredibly rare, high-grade spiritual plants to cure her illness.
But how did it happen so fast? Just a few weeks ago, her sister was struggling to keep the bankrupt pet shop open!
Her head spun. Had she accidentally slipped into an alternate dimension? It felt like a surreal, beautiful dream.
Suddenly, her optical terminal vibrated violently, unleashing an endless barrage of notifications. Ding! Ding! Ding!
Su Yulan realized her inbox was completely maxed out with thousands of unread messages. Her terminal had literally frozen trying to load them all when she first logged on.
She randomly tapped on the top message.
“Hey Yulan! Your sister is amazing! Do you think you could ask her to let me train in her Secret Realm? Please help a classmate out! ~” Attached below was an overly cutesy, animated pleading emoji.
Su Yulan recognized the sender—a girl from her lecture hall whose name she couldn’t even remember. They had spoken maybe twice all semester.
She scrolled down. The inbox was a copy-paste nightmare. Every single message was from a “friend” or “classmate” asking about her sister, their wording slightly different but their goal identical: they wanted access to the Secret Realm.
Su Yulan sneered. Do they think I’m an idiot?
High-tier Secret Realms were the most heavily guarded assets in the galaxy, monopolized by massive corporations and noble families. Accessing one cost a fortune in resources and political favors. Did these people really think they could just waltz in by calling her ‘classmate’?
More importantly, this was her sister’s hard-earned opportunity. She would never presume to make demands of her sister’s property.
She didn’t even bother reading the rest. With a rapid flick of her fingers, she hit ‘Select All’ and instantly purged the messages. Then, she opened her contacts list and began a mass-deletion spree..
Meanwhile, at Capital Beast University.
A group of students were gathered in a private lounge.
“Well? Did Su Yulan reply?” a boy asked anxiously.
A girl scowled, staring at her terminal. “Nothing. I sent her a dozen messages and she left me on read. She’s so arrogant just because she took first place in the exams.”
“It’s not just the exams,” a boy with glasses muttered, jealousy burning in his eyes. “Her sister controls an S-Class Secret Realm. No wonder she thinks she’s too good for us now.”
The group’s gaze collectively shifted toward the corner of the room, where Pei Xueqing was sitting in heavy silence.
Pei Xueqing’s face was dark as thunder. She suddenly stood up, wordlessly storming out of the room and slamming the door behind her.
After an awkward silence, someone whispered, “I heard Pei Xueqing secured a spot in a corporate Secret Realm for summer training.”
The others remained quiet, but envy flashed in their eyes. Even if Pei Xueqing was second-best to Su Yulan academically, her family’s wealth and connections meant her future was guaranteed. She was still miles ahead of ordinary students like them.
Back on the star-liner, Su Yulan had finally finished purging her contacts.
Just as she was about to close the app, a new message popped up. Her finger hovered over the screen.
Seeing the contact name, she hesitated before slowly opening the thread.
It was her biological father.
The first few messages were filled with fake, overly affectionate concern about her health—sent suspiciously late. She scoffed. When she was actually dying in the hospital, this man hadn’t spared her a single glance.
The final message revealed his true motive: “I heard you’re heading back to see your sister. Send me her contact information immediately.”
Su Yulan stared at the screen, her heart turning to ice.
Any lingering hope she had for a normal family died right then and there. Looking at the chat log, she felt nothing but profound disgust.
You don’t even have your own daughter’s comms ID, and you have the nerve to demand it from me?
What would he do with it? Beg for money? Demand she surrender the Secret Realm to his precious illegitimate son?
Without a shred of hesitation, she hit ‘Delete and Block’.
“You didn’t have her contact info before,” she muttered to the empty screen. “And now, you don’t have mine either.”
Just then, the intercom crackled to life. “Attention passengers, we are beginning our descent toward Planet XJ-738. Please secure your belongings.”
Su Yulan looked out the reinforced porthole, watching the massive, smog-covered sphere come into view.
This was her home. A poor, impoverished Level-4 rock in the backwaters of the galaxy. It was so utterly insignificant that the Interstellar Alliance hadn’t even bothered giving it a real name, just a string of cold, bureaucratic numbers.
“How long has it been?” she whispered.
Her memories of this place were filled with hazy, polluted skies, suffocating metal slums, and the crushing despair of overcrowded subways.
A sudden wave of anxiety washed over her. It was the heavy, complicated feeling of returning to a broken home.
As the ship docked with a heavy thud, Su Yulan grabbed her backpack and joined the crowd disembarking.
However, the moment she stepped off the boarding ramp, she froze in absolute shock.
Waiting for her on the arrival deck was a massive, pristine welcoming committee. Dozens of officials stood in perfect formation, holding bouquets of exotic flowers. Massive holographic banners reading ‘WELCOME HOME’ fluttered in the artificial breeze.
Standing at the front of the procession were two strikingly attractive people in high-end military dress uniforms, smiling warmly at her.
“You must be the Planet Master’s sister, Su Yulan,” Chu Feng said, stepping forward with a crisp, elegant bow. “We are here on her orders to escort you home. Please, step this way.”
Su Yulan: “……Ah???”
Did she hear that right?
Planet Master?
Her sister?
When the hell did my sister buy a planet?!
Why was this the first time she was hearing about it?!
Her brain short-circuited. Wait! She owns this entire planet now?! Impossible… I thought she was just running a failing pet shop!
This was entirely too absurd! Su Yulan genuinely thought they had mistaken her for some galactic royalty.
Just as she opened her mouth to correct them, her terminal buzzed. It was a message from Su Wudeng.
“Did Chu Feng and Lin Yue find you? Just follow them. I’m waiting for you at the clinic! ~”
Attached were two photos of the exact people standing in front of her. The message also casually mentioned that they were the Planetary Executives—the highest-ranking government officials on the entire planet!
Su Yulan stared blankly, feeling like she was hallucinating. “Ah? You’re the Planetary Executives? And you came to pick me up… personally?”
Chu Feng and Lin Yue smiled warmly. “It is our absolute honor. Right this way?”
Su Yulan nodded numbly. “Ah… oh. Okay.”
It wasn’t until she was seated in the plush leather of their armored hover-limousine, watching the familiar, smoggy cityscape blur past the window, that the reality of the situation finally slammed into her.
My sister is literally the ruler of this planet!
And as the shock faded, the true gravity of the situation hit her like a tidal wave.
Wait…
“Does this mean…” she mumbled, her eyes widening to the size of saucers. “Does this mean I get to meet the husky… and the giant Aihua… AND THE SNOW LEOPARD?!”
“Holy crap!”
