The finals of today’s tournament drew a crowd several times larger than that of the first day.

While newcomers entered Luo City daily, these men stood out too much.

“Chi Jinchen! I didn’t expect to run into you here. I heard you’ve been settling down in the wilds, but I never imagined you’d pick this new city over Feng City! Looks like my Feng City is truly too run-down to keep people around, huh?”
The moment the group entered, one of them immediately spotted Chi Jinchen among the guests.

The man referred to as Third Master of Feng City laughed heartily.
“Looks like we really do need to learn from Luo City. Feng City has been standing for years, yet it’s never been this crowded. I suppose I must visit Luo City’s city lord soon—to formally introduce myself as his new neighbor.”
As he spoke, his gaze shifted to Yu Luo.
Beside her, there were three empty chairs.
After pausing briefly, he walked toward them.
Yu Luo immediately understood his intent.
Just as she was about to offer him a seat, Chi Jinchen suddenly stood up.
With his tall frame, he blocked Yu Luo from view, cutting off Third Master’s direct line of sight.
“Third Master of Feng City,” Chi Jinchen spoke calmly.
“I’m sure City Lord Yu would welcome your visit. But the tournament is about to begin, so I won’t keep you. Given how crowded today’s finals are, you’d best find a seat quickly.
“Next time you visit, however, it would be more appropriate to notify City Lord Yu in advance. After all, an unannounced visit like this might give the impression that Luo City is neglecting its distinguished guests.”

For a brief moment, Third Master’s smile stiffened.

Still maintaining his smile, Third Master cupped his hands in a polite gesture before heading to the spectator stands.
As they walked away, one of his subordinates fumed.
“Third Master, isn’t this outrageous? We’re from Feng City, yet Chi Jinchen gets to sit in the guest area, while we—knowing who we are—weren’t even offered a decent seat? If people recognize you, wouldn’t that make us look weak?!”
Third Master’s expression darkened, though he still smiled faintly.
With a relaxed motion, he sat down in the audience, eyes flashing with hidden intent.
“We’re just here to see who’s really backing Luo City. Don’t lose your temper. Let’s figure out what we’re dealing with first.”
Meanwhile, back at the guest seating—
“Xiao Luo, send word to City Lord Yu and Madam Ye. Tell them not to attend the finals today.”
