After their initial sweep, these people didn’t immediately leave the room. Instead, they began meticulously searching for anything out of place.
The throw pillows on the sofa, the trash can on the floor, and the paintings on the wall all fell victim to their scrutiny.
Two shots landed right next to Chu Yian; though they missed, they were enough to scare anyone to death.
“Enough, stop wasting bullets.”
They finally decided to abandon the room, picked up their weapons, and exited.
Terrifying, truly terrifying.
The player hiding among a pile of books was trembling, and Chu Yian, from her elevated position, spotted him among the volumes.
Immediately after, two gunshots rang out.
The group that had supposedly left returned, a triumphant smile on their faces as they watched the player vanish into a white light.
“Hahaha, I told you there was still prey in the room, you idiots.”
The hunter with a bionic eye on his left side carried a gun, sneering as he swept the room again. His red bionic eye suddenly locked onto the cabinet where Chu Yian was hiding, and he raised his gun towards her.

Chu Yian’s heart was pounding.
However, just then, a piercing alarm sounded. The bionic-eyed hunter’s attention was drawn by the alarm, and an excited smile appeared on his face as he grabbed his gun and ran out.

The alarm had stopped.
The popping sounds inside the room continued.

The number of players had already dropped to six hundred.
After the first alarm sounded, they began to ring out one after another. These sounds exposed the players’ positions, attracting a frantic pursuit from the hunters.

The male hunter smirked, aimed at the trash can that had just moved a tiny bit, and fired two shots. The trash can vanished in a white light, and one more kill was added to the male hunter’s account.
The male hunter was in a good mood after easily getting a kill. He reached out and put his arm around the female hunter’s shoulder, “While we can’t be as abnormal as The one surnamed Lu, catching a dozen or twenty prey certainly won’t be a problem.
