Chapter 135: We’re Staying in the First-Class Cabin Now
Su He’s words surprised many of the foreigners present. The woman who had previously tried to persuade John even took the lead in applauding her. Under her influence, quite a few other foreign guests joined in the applause as well.
Of course, John didn’t clap. He simply curled his lips and remained silent.
Elder Gu was curious about what Su He had said, so she repeated it in Chinese. Before Elder Gu could react, Yue Zhongcheng gave her a thumbs-up and exclaimed, “Well said! Very well said! Our Huaxia will grow strong one day! We’ll no longer have to endure this kind of humiliation!”
Elder Gu nodded in agreement. This young girl really has a silver tongue!
Just then, it was time for dinner. The meals prepared for the foreign guests were quite decent, offering both Chinese and Western cuisine. Though not luxurious, it was certainly plentiful.
Seeing Su He still standing, Elder Gu invited her to sit and eat together.
Su He hesitated. “Mr. Gu, I came along this time to accompany Principal Chen from our county’s night school to S City for a business trip. He’s getting on in years, and I worry about him. Why don’t I head back now and return tomorrow morning?”
Elder Gu immediately panicked. “You can’t leave! These foreigners are going to be drinking wine and throwing wild parties tonight. If you’re not here, what am I supposed to do?! How about this—have that principal of yours move into the First-Class Cabin too!”
That was exactly what Su He had in mind, though it was more satisfying for Elder Gu to offer the suggestion than for her to bring it up herself.
So, after thanking Elder Gu, she happily went off to find Principal Chen.
At this moment, Principal Chen was already at his wit’s end, having pulled out several strands of hair from sheer worry.
Why hasn’t Little Su returned after all this time?
Meanwhile, Li Xia and the others were still making snide remarks.
“That Su He must’ve made a huge mistake and been locked up by now!”
“With those third-rate skills of hers, volunteering like that was just asking for trouble!”

Only then did Principal Chen breathe a sigh of relief. “Little Su, where have you been? Did everything go smoothly?”
Su He smiled brightly. “Pretty well. But we won’t be staying in our old bunks anymore!”
Li Xia immediately burst out laughing. “You got kicked off the train, didn’t you? Serves you right! Acting all high and mighty—without the skills to back it up!”
Ignoring her, Su He turned to Principal Chen. “Principal, we’re moving to the First-Class Cabin. And we get a private cabin!”
Principal Chen looked utterly confused. “What did you say?”
Su He chirped, “I said the chief invited us to stay in the First-Class Cabin—private cabin and all. Now you can tell me to close the door on my way out again!”
Principal Chen: “……”
Am I dreaming?
So Su He really can speak English? And not only that, she did a great job interpreting?
It took him a while to accept this was real and not some fantasy.
As they were leaving, Su He said to Li Xia, “We didn’t exactly get along before, but I can tell you’re just blunt, not a bad person. So here’s a friendly piece of advice: be careful who you trust. Or you might get sold out without even knowing it.”
Li Xia was stunned. “What do you mean by that? Explain yourself!”
Su He glanced at Yu Dandan on the upper bunk and hinted, “Think about what’s happened. Haven’t you been used?
That whole idea to shake the bed—was that really your own? Or did someone suggest it to you?
Why didn’t she do the shaking? Why only you?
You got punished and nearly disciplined, but she walked away clean.
Anyway, that’s all I’ll say. Just—be more careful in the future.”
Without waiting for a response, Su He walked away, calm and composed.
Yu Dandan, you little green tea witch, trying to mess with me? Watch me drown you in tea!
Dogs biting each other is the best entertainment!
As Su He passed the other passengers who had helped her earlier, she greeted each one of them warmly and even pulled out a large bag of roasted peanuts from her travel bag to share with everyone.
They all looked sad to see her go, and one little boy even started crying.
Then, everyone insisted on walking her to the First-Class Cabin door.

After a few more words, Su He finally stepped into the First-Class Cabin.
Yue Zhongcheng couldn’t help asking, “Little Su, are those your fellow townspeople?”
“No, I just met them on the train.”

Su He then brought Principal Chen to meet Elder Gu.
