She froze for a moment before sneering, “Principal Chen, you’re lying! You’re just trying to cover for Su He! If it’s really as you say, why doesn’t my cousin know anything about it?”
Principal Chen asked in confusion, “Who’s your cousin?”
“My cousin is Fu Peng. He’s a teacher at the night school. Why wouldn’t he know about this? Obviously, you just made it up on the spot! Smooth talk won’t save you. You might be able to fool children with this nonsense, but not me!”
