Quick Transmigration: The Villain Has Gone Dark Again – CH11

The Bridal Sedan—Damn It, It’s White

Chapter 11: The Bridal Sedan—Damn It, It’s White

The elders spared no effort in brainwashing Nan Xun—talking about sacrificing the small self to fulfill the greater good, about how all of this was for the sake of the Zui Li family.

Nan Xun really wanted to spit in their faces.

But in order not to break character, she quietly played the role of an innocent little white lotus who knew nothing of the world.

That night, another layer was added to the barrier outside the courtyard, and her mother brought her a bright red bridal robe.

As usual, her mother cried her heart out for a while, then held Nan Xun’s hand and secretly stuffed a stack of talismans into it, lowering her voice. “Xuan’er, these are high-grade escape talismans, explosive talismans, and teleportation talismans. Take them with you and use them when you find the chance.”

Nan Xun put the items away and couldn’t help hugging the beautiful woman, thinking to herself, Little Eight, I miss my mom.

For once, the Void Beast didn’t keep playing dead and replied, “Be good. As long as you complete the mission properly and I accumulate enough merit points, you’ll be able to go back.”

Nan Xun squeezed out a few tears but said nothing, feeling more and more that Little Eight was a trap—a gigantic one.

“Little Eight, I remember that last night my singing attracted a lot of spirit beasts. Didn’t anyone see such a spectacle?” Nan Xun asked, very puzzled.

A hundred birds dancing in the air—such an epic, once-in-a-millennium sight—and yet no one had seen it?

The Void Beast explained, “The Demon King isolated all the surrounding areas. So aside from you, him, and those spirit birds, no one else could hear anything.”

“Why would he do that?”

The Void Beast replied, “You’re asking me? Who should I ask?”

Nan Xun couldn’t help snapping back, “Didn’t you send me to this world to show off how powerful you are? And yet you don’t even know this much.”

The Void Beast went back to playing dead.

Early the next morning, Nan Xun was woken by noise. A group of maids and old nannies filed in one after another and began attending to her grooming.

An hour later, Nan Xun—thoroughly dressed and adorned from head to toe—looked at the fiery, gorgeous bride in the mirror. She curled her lips into a smile at her reflection and, unsurprisingly, heard sharp intakes of breath rise and fall around her.

Who said the Zui Li family was full of nothing but conservative old men? Just look at the wedding dress they chose for her—her ample bosom half-exposed, covered only by a layer of light red gauze. That half-hidden, half-revealed look was the most enticing; even she felt like she might get a nosebleed just looking at herself.

At the main entrance of the Zui Li family, a large sedan chair was already waiting—yet the expressions of everyone present were uglier than the last.

When Nan Xun saw it, she cursed inwardly as well. The sedan chair was actually white!

“Little Eight, what do you think the Demon King is trying to do? Does he want to marry a dead Zui Li Xuan?” Nan Xun’s voice trembled slightly.

The Void Beast only replied with one sentence: “Good luck.”

Eight green-eyed Hell Demon Leopards were carrying the sedan. Aside from them, there were no other demon beasts.

Eight pairs of eerie green eyes focused on Nan Xun in unison, making the pressure on her overwhelming.

Even though only eight Hell Demon Leopards had been sent to escort the bride—and the sedan chair was deathly white—no one dared voice their anger.

Nan Xun glanced back once. Under the gazes filled with awe, regret, worry, or schadenfreude, she stepped into the sedan chair.

Before she could even sit properly, the eight Hell Demon Leopards turned around with the white sedan and took off, moving as fast as the wind, like they were rushing to reincarnate.

Nan Xun might complain about being scared, but in truth she was pretty carefree. It didn’t take long before she nodded off.

What she didn’t expect was that after just a short nap, when she woke up again, she was no longer inside the sedan chair.

She lay on a long couch. The light around her was dim, the natural five-element energies in the air extremely sparse. Filling this space was dark element energy—something that cultivators could not absorb.

This place must be the legendary… Demon Domain.

Nan Xun encounters an unbelievably powerful mythical beast—so overpowered it’s practically a walking cheat. This divine creature can take her through countless different worlds, and in exchange, Nan Xun must help it collect merit points. Once she accumulates enough merit and completes the mission, she’ll be able to return to the past and rewrite her fate, changing the tragic ending in which she died alone in a foreign place. At first, everything sounds perfect. But very quickly, Nan Xun comes to regret this deal so deeply that her intestines practically turn green with remorse. Why? Because those precious merit points can only be obtained from villains—and not just any villains, but ultimate, endgame-level bosses whose darkening value is 100 and whose malice value is also 100. In other words, these are villains who are completely blackened to the core, overflowing with evil thoughts. Nan Xun’s original plan was simple and pure-hearted: she would cleanse their souls, purify their corrupted hearts, and gently guide them back onto the path of righteousness. But reality hits her hard. What she absolutely did not sign up for was this: Why do all these villains keep falling in love with her?! One villain is a cannibal. Another is a vicious, malevolent ghost. A third is… well, words fail her. Each one is more unhinged and terrifying than the last. And just when Nan Xun thinks things can’t possibly get any worse, she discovers the horrifying truth: all of these villains are actually the same person, appearing in different worlds and identities. At that moment, Nan Xun’s eyes roll back, and she collapses flat onto the ground, playing dead on the spot. Meanwhile, the boss—evil, charming, wildly arrogant, and overwhelmingly domineering—curves his lips into a wicked smile and says lazily, “Baby, didn’t you say you wanted to purify my heart? Come on, then~” Nan Xun, internally screaming, “Self-inflicted sins truly cannot be lived through. I really, really want to die. What am I supposed to do now?!”
