Doomsday: Scavenging in a Survival Game – CH46

Conceptual Tunneling, Container Supplies

Chapter 46: Conceptual Tunneling, Container Supplies

Suddenly ambushed, her body reacted instinctively. She picked up the Gatling gun and, without hesitation, fired at the attacker!

With the support of her [Rain of Bullets] ability, the Gatling gun in her hands roared like a ferocious beast. Each shot was like a violent storm sweeping through everything in its path.

Wherever the bullets landed, nothing escaped total destruction from the heavy firepower!

Zhongsun Junzhang broke into a cold sweat at the sight and, without the slightest hesitation, put away his sniper rifle and turned to flee the scene.

“Oh my god! This zombie is totally cheating—it’s way too powerful and even has such terrifying abilities. It’s just unfair.”

With a wave of his hand, the sniper rifle slung over his shoulder instantly vanished. This was his innate talent—Spatial Ability.

This ability granted him a ten-square-meter storage space, allowing him to store the items he collected in the dungeon, which had netted him plenty of good stuff.

However, he was still exploring and developing its offensive applications.

In the next moment, his figure flickered and disappeared, using Spatial Blink to evade pursuit—a technique he had recently developed to escape zombies.

It could only be used a few times per day, but that was enough to escape. In the blink of an eye, he vanished from the area without a trace.

Su Ning stared at the disappearing figure, lost in thought.

Meanwhile, in another corner of the zombie horde, Gu Cheng’an’s group stared wide-eyed, dumbfounded at what had just happened.

Ma Feng couldn’t help but exclaim, “Boss, could that person be none other than Zhongsun Junzhang from the First Shelter—the guy with spatial abilities?!”

Gu Cheng’an nodded calmly. “That’s right. That’s Zhongsun Junzhang.”

However, his gaze never left that unusual zombie. He watched as it stopped moving, slowly walked into the zombie horde, and eventually disappeared from sight.

An Ruoru asked with some confusion, “Boss, are we still going to try killing that zombie?”

Gu Cheng’an shook his head solemnly. “Too dangerous. Even if killing a special zombie might drop a treasure chest, it’s not worth risking our lives for it.”

Thinking of the roaring Gatling from earlier, Ma Feng involuntarily trembled.

With a terrified look, he turned to An Ruoru and said, “Big sis, you’re not seriously thinking of making me face that firepower head-on, are you?”

“What else? Didn’t you always brag about being invulnerable to weapons? Here’s your chance to prove it,” An Ruoru rolled her eyes.

“You’re a demon!”

“Let’s see if you dare talk big again!”

“Uhm… guys, maybe we shouldn’t argue right now. It’s best to deal with the nearby zombies first,” another teammate sighed.

As they watched the zombies, a group of juvenile mutant zombies gathered on the surrounding buildings.

“Let’s clear these zombies first.”

“Roger!”

After disconnecting the link, although Su Ning was curious about the spatial-ability player, she didn’t dwell on it too long. After all, the world was big—special people were bound to exist.

Then she began thinking about what to feed the zombies.

Suddenly, a brilliant idea struck her.

“How about feeding them the Death Worms we’ve been breeding? These were originally fodder for Meaty Chickens. But ever since entering the [Corpse Hell] dungeon and injecting them with zombie virus, they’ve evolved into Corpse Worms. They’re still feed, just… stronger.”

Still, Su Ning was worried the worms might burst out of the zombies’ stomachs after being eaten.

So she decided to have her Chef Zombie handle it. Do it yourself—eat well yourself. She’d have the worms grilled into skewers.

When the [Rain of Bullets Zombie] returned, the five zombies could enjoy a tasty roasted worm feast together.

By now, the sky outside had gradually darkened. Su Ning lay on a soft mattress and took the opportunity to check her zombie kill count.

Zombies killed: 10,145
She had completed one-tenth of her kill mission.

Seeing the number made her feel cheerful.

“I really want some snacks right now!”

She remembered all the snacks she wasted before the apocalypse.

“Such a sin. If I had another chance, I wouldn’t let a single snack escape my grasp.”

Just then, she suddenly recalled a container in her backpack she hadn’t opened yet.

“Oh right, I completely forgot about that!”

But she didn’t have enough space.

Su Ning quickly set out to find a bigger area.

This time, she was cautious and had her Perception Zombie scan for nearby players or humans.

Thanks to the zombie horde, the area was now empty—even if there had been players, they had long fled.

Su Ning entered the lobby of a five-story building.

From her backpack, she pulled out a sealed container.

But now she had another problem.

“How do I open this thing?”

She started rummaging through her bag for useful tools.

“Wrench? Hammer? Axe? None of these seem to work.”

Lifting her head, her gaze fell on the Tunneling Zombie. She muttered to herself, “Tunneling? If it can dig through concrete easily, wouldn’t container metal be a piece of cake?”

Holding onto a “worth a try” attitude, Su Ning commanded the Tunneling Zombie to approach the container and use its ability.

As the Tunneling Zombie activated its power, the once-solid container suddenly became as fragile as loose sand.

With a simple motion, it punched a large hole into the container.

“Nice ability,” Su Ning said in awe. But instead of checking the contents right away, she had the Tunneling Zombie continue trying it on other items to explore more of its potential.

Watching the Tunneling Zombie punch holes through all kinds of materials, Su Ning couldn’t help but marvel, “This ability is practically conceptual!”

After several tests, she discovered that as long as the zombie focused on a target and used its power, it could easily punch holes through anything—metal, wood, and even solid stone.

“If this ability was used on humans…” A terrifying image flashed in her mind. She didn’t dare think more—it was far too gruesome.

Still, Su Ning knew that this ability—or rather, the Tunneling Zombie—might become a powerful weapon for her to survive with.

“Tomorrow, I should let it try this on other zombies. If it works like I think, my kill speed will skyrocket.”

Finally, Su Ning turned her attention back to the now-open container.

Inside were stacks of cardboard boxes.
