Chapter 21: Insect Refining Pot, Attack
Su Ning decided to set aside testing her new talent for now. After all, there were only two days left before the dungeon ended.
She wanted to rest well and prepare for tomorrow’s task.
Because she had arrived at a new breeding farm, new dangers and challenges might arise.
Su Ning lay on the bed, gazing out the window, feeling a bit relaxed.
After several days of effort, she had successfully raised her breeder level, entered the advanced area of the breeding farm, and even obtained the treasure chest in the administrator’s office.
Now, she could finally ease her tense nerves.
Su Ning took out the Insect Refining Pot she had acquired from the treasure chest.
The Insect Refining Pot looked ornate and ancient, cast in antique bronze, with a transparent round gemstone inlaid on its surface. The gem emitted a mysterious glow.
Su Ning knew this item must possess extraordinary power.
“Perfect opportunity to try out this new tool,” she thought. This pot might bring her unexpected gains and surprises.
She held the pot tightly, feeling its weight and warmth.
The effect of the pot was to refine any insect placed inside. Once refined, the insect would be under the control of the pot’s owner.
Su Ning took a deep breath and began examining the Insect Refining Pot carefully.
She cautiously opened the lid, and a faint fragrance wafted out.
Curious, she looked inside and noticed faint flickering lights, which seemed to be linked to the pot’s energy. But its exact function would need to be tested with an insect.
She took a Death Worm from her backpack and quickly dropped it into the pot to experiment.

“This is amazing!” Su Ning exclaimed, her jaw dropping in awe.
She never expected to control an insect so easily.
This meant the Insect Refining Pot had effectively made her a kind of insect master.
“A new form of attack added!” Su Ning realized. With this pot, she could continue refining different insects and build her own insect army.
This would greatly enhance her strength.
However, she quickly discovered a limitation: the pot could only refine one insect at a time, not multiple.
Still, she didn’t consider this a major issue. For now, it was more than enough.
Originally, she had collected the Death Worms to feed her three Meaty Chick chicks in her backpack.
Death Worms were rich in nutrients and could speed up the chicks’ growth. But now, the worms had become one of her offensive tools thanks to the pot.
“After all, Death Worms are so dangerous even as feed that most people fear them!”
They love raw flesh and like to parasitize living organisms.
Looking at the pot, Su Ning smiled.
“This is exactly why I chose the Emerald Bee Farm!” She hoped to use the pot to control some Emerald Bees.
“At first, I just wanted them to produce Emerald Honey for me, but after acquiring the Poison Scavenger talent, I can absorb toxins to strengthen my own poison attacks. This is killing multiple birds with one stone!”
Su Ning was secretly thrilled.
Having finished testing the pot, she went to rest.
But not every player in the survival dungeon had the luxury to rest like Su Ning.
The next day, Su Ning started a new task.
Raising Emerald Bees was dangerous, especially when it came to managing the hives and harvesting honey.

But two hours before the dungeon ended, a thunderous explosion suddenly erupted.
Then, she heard a furious shout, “Damn Storm Clan! How dare you attack the Moko Clan’s breeding farm—you’re seeking death!”
Before the words faded, a fierce battle had already begun!
The explosion had affected Su Ning’s farm directly. The Emerald Bee hives on the trees were instantly destroyed, with honey and bees scattered by the shockwave.
Su Ning herself was knocked to the ground by the blast.
“What the hell is going on?” She hadn’t even grasped the situation when massive flocks of birds appeared in the sky, descending on the farm.
Wherever the birds flew, they destroyed everything in their path!
“Is this a surprise attack? The Storm Clan?” Su Ning quickly guessed and prepared for defense—but the Moko Clan reacted even faster.
Looking around at the ruined farm, Su Ning’s thoughts sparked.
“This is the perfect time to scavenge!”
She gathered the still-intact Emerald Bees stunned by the blast into her backpack—of course, she didn’t forget the honey either.
Without counting, she rushed toward the other farms. Outside, chaos reigned as the Moko Clan guards battled the attacking Storm Clan forces.
Su Ning noticed the main battlefield was directly above the Starfruit Tree.
“Is the Storm Clan’s target the Moko Clan’s Starfruit?”
She immediately realized that her best chance to scavenge in this war was to get the Starfruit!
“Should I risk it?” After a moment’s thought, Su Ning made up her mind.
She wasn’t the only one thinking this way. All the remaining players were considering one last gamble—maybe they could get something incredible before the dungeon closed.
On the way, Su Ning carefully tucked items into her backpack.
The running Meaty Chick chicks—collected!
The fully intact Giant Flower in the garden—collected!
