Monitoring.
Chu Yian’s gaze swept across the top of the greenhouse, and sure enough, she spotted over a dozen cameras pointed downwards.
“Will our conversation be eavesdropped on?”
She quickly thought of this question.
“I don’t know, but it’s best to speak softly.”
Cao Shufen worked diligently, and soon her row of weeds was cleared. She then ran over to help Chu Yian, “If you want to live a little longer in this factory, you must be obedient and not probe too much into what’s behind the factory. All the restless people have died.”
Hearing her say this, Chu Yian realized that the person in front of her must know something.
“Sister Cao, when did you come in?”
“Three weeks ago.”
Cao Shufen clearly didn’t want to say anything more. She pulled out the weeds above and hurried away.
Meanwhile, the players locked in the same production room had already started forming groups. They questioned each other one by one, and soon it was Chu Yian’s turn.
At this point, the small group already had five people: three men and two women.
They sent a girl who seemed easy to talk to approach Chu Yian, “Hello, are you a player?”
Chu Yian wasn’t very keen on teaming up, but pretending to be an NPC and going solo wasn’t conducive to gathering information. She nodded slightly, “Yes.”

Someone then brought up what the female Administrator had said earlier, “I wonder if joining the Vanguard Team directly completes the mission.”
“Didn’t Liu Yang join? He’s really bold.”
The only bald young man among the seven said, “If he really can get out, his ranking in this round of the game will at least be in the top hundred.”
Hearing that the bald man actually knew that person, someone immediately got excited, “You know the person who just joined the Vanguard Team? Should we try it too?”
Unfortunately, as soon as the words left his mouth, the bald man retorted, “He had 35 points before, he had the capital to take risks. How many points do you have?”
The player who was asked was also unconvinced, “So what if it’s 35 points? That’s someone else’s, not yours. Why are you showing off? Just the two of us, do you dare to compare who has more points?

After so many rounds of the game, everyone had a few points more or less, but the majority still had less than 20 points. For such obvious point-controlling players, everyone directly categorized them as Big Boss (big shots).
The real big shot standing nearby couldn’t help but shake her head at this scene. This was why she didn’t want to team up with random players; the more people there were, the harder the relationships became.
Aunt Shufen, who had kindly reminded her earlier, was much more practical.
Watching these players who had already started showing off their points, she walked alone to the restroom to open her treasure box.

After she made her wish, the treasure box emitted a glow.

She looked at the description suspiciously, wondering if this was really something that could help her escape the factory?
Chu Yian took out the scepter. The one-meter-long scepter felt heavy in her hand. Its head was carved in the shape of a crown, but the shaft was sharp and slender, making the whole thing look more like a slightly thicker rapier.
Chu Yian swung the crowned end of the scepter, and with a whoosh, it stabbed towards the wall. The next second, a sharp alarm sounded, and Chu Yian heard the outside door open. A group of Administrators rushed into the production room.
“Who? Possessing contraband!”
Their expressions were cold with a hint of ferocity, their eyes scanning over them little by little, “Who brought contraband?”
Everyone in the room remained silent.
Both players and NPCs had bewildered looks in their eyes, unsure of what was happening.
They were then asked to stand in a line. These Administrators took out a machine resembling a metal detector and began to inspect the production room and their bodies.
One by one, they lined up for inspection.
The first few people were fine, but when it was the bald player’s turn, the metal detector suddenly rang.
Hearing the detector’s sound, the Administrator’s expression changed, and they drew their weapons, surrounding the bald man. Seeing this posture, the bald man quickly raised his hands above his head, “Gentlemen, it’s a misunderstanding, I didn’t bring anything.”
The leader didn’t listen to him, “Open your mouth.”
The bald man didn’t understand why, but he still obediently opened his mouth. Immediately after, the leading Administrator had someone use tools to fix his mouth open, put on gloves, and reach into his mouth.
Stirring, searching.
Amidst the man’s pained cry, the leading Administrator pulled out a metal tooth from his mouth. With such force, the bald man’s mouth was bleeding. He clutched his mouth in discomfort, “What are you doing? I had this silver tooth filled three years ago.”
The Administrator didn’t give the bald man an explanation.
With a direct command to ‘take him away,’ the bald man was escorted away by the burly men behind the Administrator, and the inspection of others around continued.
Is the contraband silver?
Chu Yian realized this from the bald man’s words. Then, under the gaze of the Administrators, she stepped up, extending her arms.
Passed.
Fortunately, when she heard the alarm, she put the scepter back into her treasure box and rushed out.
No problem, safely passed.
But she couldn’t understand why silver was contraband, and what the treasure box’s intention was in giving her silver when she wished for something to escape the factory.
“What should we do? Wang Jie was taken away so quickly.”
“He won’t be in trouble, will he?”
Someone saw Wang Jie being taken away and couldn’t help but worry. Chu Yian, on the other hand, looked at the middle-aged woman hiding to the side, silent, then leaned close to her, “Aunt Shufen, is it possible for those who are taken away to come back?”
“They won’t come back.”
Cao Shufen replied softly, “Anyone who is taken away will never return. New people will continuously be sent to the production room.”
“Then do you know why silver is contraband?”
Cao Shufen shook her head, “I just found out that silver is contraband. Before this, I had never seen silver inside the factory.”
Is silver not allowed to exist within the factory?
Chu Yian felt this was important information. So, in the absence of other conditions, should she now focus all her efforts on collecting silver?
