Chapter 33: Two Tasks
Ponytail girl lay on the ground, covered in blood.
Bai Cha slowly stood up.
This person wouldn’t just die like this, would they?
Before she could even go over to check, the Ponytail girl struggled to sit up again.
However, at this moment, the Ponytail girl’s hair was disheveled, and her face had terrifying blood streaks, as if someone had clawed at her.
She rested for a while before returning to sit down, and didn’t seem to have any particularly major problems.
Facing Bai Cha’s concerned inquiries, she only shook her head, closed her eyes, and said nothing.
Bai Cha didn’t ask anymore.

He had to go to the end of the second-floor corridor to light a candle.

Bai Cha looked at the spread-out playing cards, expressionless, and reached out to directly draw two adjacent cards.

[Open the window in your own room.]

At least Bai Cha was certain of one thing.
The difficulty of the tasks on the playing cards should be based on 3 being the easiest. It was still unclear whether there were Jacks, Queens, or Kings.
Wang Xuming looked at her standing up with a face full of regret, feeling that his elixir was probably not going to pay off.
“Any last words?” Wang Xuming asked, out of the original intention to win her over.
Bai Cha smiled. “No.”
She didn’t need last words.
What was there to write? Ask someone to inherit her Alipay debt installments?

“Thank you.” Bai Cha’s smile was much more sincere.
As a newbie, besides her physical abilities being terrible, not having weapons and items was also her problem.
She went upstairs first.

The curtains in the room were still in the state she had closed them in before.
Bai Cha held the curtains tightly with one hand and reached out from the gap with the other to feel for the window.

However, upon touching it, instead of the cold touch of a window, she felt something sticky, slippery, and soft.
Bai Cha’s hand stiffened slightly.

According to what Wang Xuming said earlier, the thing he saw in the kitchen was Brother Cai’s body.
So what was here at the window?
Bai Cha then remembered that when she walked to the door of room 306, she hadn’t seen Zhong Man’s body, which should have been lying in room 305.

With a whoosh, behind the opened curtains was a person spread out.
His bones had been removed, and the person had been split open from the middle and stuck to the window, covering it.
However, it really was Zhong Man.
His crushed head was hanging right above Bai Cha’s head. After the curtains were drawn open, blood tears immediately began to fall from his eye sockets.
“Why didn’t you save me? You clearly saw me.”
