Chapter 1: The Club — The Little Fortune-Teller
Guose Tianxiang Club.
The most luxurious high-end private club in the Imperial Capital.
Su Keke lowered her head and glanced at the luopan compass [1] in her hand. The needle was pointing straight at the upscale club ahead.
Then her little face scrunched up.
Looks like… it’s really here.
A place like this—obviously the kind only absurdly rich people could get into. A country bumpkin like her couldn’t possibly enter, okay?
But this was the very first job of her life. She had to succeed.
Su Keke lingered at the entrance for a while, watching one luxury car after another drive into the club. She blinked, and an idea popped into her head.
Hehe—got it.
Go to the busy district and flag down a deluxe “ghost car”!
Just as Su Keke was about to leave, she saw a sports car driving toward her.
It was a dazzling, eye-blinding red convertible—and the person in it…
Su Keke’s eyes flickered, and she instantly changed her mind.
She ran into the middle of the road and waved at the driver.
The car stopped. A man in a red suit took off his sunglasses and tilted his head to look out of the car.
The man’s appearance—
Long, narrow peach-blossom eyes, slightly curved at the corners, a mole at the tail of his eye, and full, rosy lips.
A face born with romantic fortune.
Paired with that red suit flashy enough to blind titanium-alloy dog eyes, he was the very definition of a show-off.
The man’s gaze landed on Su Keke. His peach-blossom eyes lifted slightly as he let out a teasing whistle.
“Well now, where’d this little cutie come from, daring to block my car? How old are you, kid—eighteen yet?”
These days, there were plenty of women eager to leap up the social ladder. Naturally, some with ulterior motives would stake out places like this, hoping for a “chance encounter.”
As a seasoned playboy who’d been picking flowers all year round, Young Master Qin knew these tricks all too well.
The girl in front of him looked clean and fresh—but who knew whether she was genuinely pure, or just pretending to be innocent.
Su Keke looked at him, her little expression extremely serious.
“I’m eighteen. Just turned eighteen this year. Big brother, I have something very important to do. Can you take me inside? Big brother, your glabella is turning bluish-black—you’re afraid to suffer a bloody calamity tonight. As payment, I’ll help you get through it.”
Qin Junchi froze for a moment—then burst out laughing like a snorting pig.
Bluish-black glabella?
Bloody calamity?
Hahahaha…
This was hilarious. Girls these days really had endless tricks. Just to strike up a conversation, they’d even pretend to be fortune-tellers now?
Qin Junchi eyed the innocent-looking little cutie before him. His heart stirred, and a plan formed.
He gave a sly grin, pulled out his phone, and sent a message to a contact labeled Poker Face:
Fourth Uncle, I’ve prepared a super big surprise for you. Just don’t tell my dad and mom about me racing cars, okay? Love you~~
That wavy little flourish at the end was just as flashy as the man himself.
One minute later—
Su Keke got into the car, but she had to “please” a certain guest in exchange.
Qin Junchi led Su Keke straight into the club. He was obviously a regular here—the staff were well aware of his relationship with the person in the Presidential Suite. With professional smiles, they escorted Young Master Qin into the VIP elevator that went directly to the 10th floor.
Su Keke followed obediently at his side, unable to stop herself from looking around.
This place was really beautiful.
Luxuriously decorated, romantic, full of atmosphere, with a vintage color palette—no wonder it was called Guose Tianxiang.
The top floor of Guose Tianxiang Club consisted of just two Presidential VIP suites. The one on the east side stood empty most of the year, only occasionally occupied—but everyone knew it belonged exclusively to one person.
The all-powerful Fourth Master of the Qin family in the Imperial Capital—
Qin Mochen.
