Chapter 267: Trust Her
The agent shrank his neck and said, “General, our people checked several times. They really only had twenty bodyguards… who knew where all these extra people came from?”
The man addressed as “General” had a cold expression as he said, “You also didn’t mention they had firearms.”
The agent hurried to explain, “Guns are strictly banned in Huaxia. I really don’t know where they got so many weapons, General, I swear I didn’t hide anything!”
Just as the agent finished speaking, the General kicked him hard.
“Useless trash!” the General cursed.
Even though the agent felt intense pain in his chest, he didn’t dare utter a word of protest.
Meanwhile, a man by the bus frowned and said, “General, whether you can take down that woman or not, first have someone move the rocks. We must move the goods out today.”

Both the General and the transporter’s faces turned ugly.

The moment he finished speaking, a commotion broke out by the bus.
Originally, eight armed guards were watching over the bus. Six had gone down to help, leaving only two guarding forty people.

The so-called General had already fled with his closest aides the moment he realized things had gone wrong.
Only the agent was left behind, trembling with fear. “Ms. Xu, this has nothing to do with me, I didn’t want this to happen either…”
Xu Youyou gave a cold look and signaled to a bodyguard, who immediately pointed his gun at the agent’s head.
The agent’s legs gave out, and a suspicious liquid spread beneath him.
Xu Youyou looked at him with disgust. “Why did you betray me?”
The agent froze, then said after a moment, “Our General somehow got news that you’re extremely wealthy, with hundreds of billions in your account… He thought that capturing you would let him get his hands on that fortune.”
Hearing his explanation, Xu Youyou almost laughed from anger, but soon she sensed something was wrong.
“My money in Huaxia… you think it’s that easy to transfer out?”
The agent glanced around evasively.
Seeing him hesitate, Xu Youyou directly ordered her bodyguard, “Shoot him.”
Gunfire rang out.
The agent screamed in pain — the shot wasn’t fatal but hit his right hand.
Kneeling on the ground, clutching his bloodied hand, the agent howled miserably.

The agent shook his head. “I don’t know…”
As soon as he spoke, he got shot again, this time in the left hand.

One of Xu Youyou’s bodyguards found a hammer somewhere and smashed the bus lock open.
“Don’t worry. I’m here to save you,” Xu Youyou said.
