Uncle, You’re Missing Me in Your Destiny – CH30

Uncle, Who Lives Here?

Chapter 30: Uncle, Who Lives Here?

Such a big little chubby chili came charging straight at him, then leapt at him—leading with the sturdiest part of her whole body: her head. She was so fast she even kicked up a gust of wind.

If Qin Mochen hadn’t reacted quickly—staggering back a step and grabbing the little girl by the arms—Su Keke would have slid down along his abdomen and ended up face-first on the ground, fully completing a classic face-plant.

Qin Mochen smoothly slipped his hands under her arms, lifted the flustered little girl up, and set her back on her feet.

Her legs were still weak, and she nearly couldn’t stand steady.

“Girl, are you okay?” Qin Mochen frowned.

Su Keke slowly lifted her head to look at him. Her black, glassy eyes were filled with tears, two big teardrops trembling at the corners, about to fall but not quite.

Qin Mochen laughed. “You’re the one who crashed into me. I haven’t even said anything yet, and you’re already acting wronged?”

Su Keke’s little mouth twitched; before she could say anything, two streams of blood flowed out of her nose.

Qin Mochen’s expression changed slightly.

Covering her nose, Su Keke complained muffledly, “Uncle, what is your stomach made of? Why is it so hard? It hurts so bad.”

“If what you really hit was my stomach, the one in trouble now wouldn’t be you—it would be me. Now, raise both arms, tilt your head slightly back, and lean your body backward as much as you can.” His voice was low, his speaking pace a bit faster than usual.

Su Keke immediately did as told—arms high, head lifted toward the sky—looking ridiculously funny.

“Uncle, I feel like I can’t stand steadily like this.”

“I’ll hold you.” Qin Mochen wrapped one arm around her waist and pinched her nose with the other, pressing his index finger and thumb tightly against both sides of her nostrils.

With her nose pinched shut, Su Keke opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but Qin Mochen shot her a stern look before she could speak. “Don’t talk yet.”

Su Keke let out a soft “Oh.”

Ten minutes later, once Su Keke’s nose had stopped bleeding, Qin Mochen finally released his grip.

“Fourth Master, here’s a wet towel and an ice pack.” Assistant Wu’s efficiency was impeccable.

Qin Mochen took the ice pack and applied it to Su Keke’s forehead and the back of her neck, making sure the nosebleed wouldn’t resume. Then he used the wet towel to wipe away the dried blood around her lips and nose, and finally cleaned the little meaty paws that were smeared with blood.

How could this kid be so dumb?

Su Keke sneaked a glance at Qin Mochen.

Then another glance.

Expressionless. Very serious.

“Uncle, I was just too excited earlier and didn’t watch my step. I’ll be careful from now on,” Su Keke said softly.

Her big toe was still hurting.

Qin Mochen snorted. “Aren’t you a feng shui master? You couldn’t even predict your own bloodshed misfortune today?”

Su Keke puffed out her cheeks and explained, “A doctor can’t treat himself, and it’s the same for us—we can’t divine for ourselves either. There are secret methods, but they damage one’s cultivation, so most people wouldn’t do that.”

Qin Mochen nodded. “Rather than knowing in advance and worrying, it’s better not to know at all.”

Su Keke chuckled. “You can’t say that either. By Uncle’s logic, wouldn’t our whole profession be out of a job?

“After divining certain things, we can help clients prepare ahead of time. For example, Uncle—didn’t you have a master calculate that you’d face a major calamity recently, and that’s why you hired me to protect you?”

Qin Mochen swept a glance over her skinny arms and legs and fell silent.

How was he supposed to explain that this whole matter was actually just a misunderstanding…

Qin Mochen felt it was better not to explain for now—otherwise, his authority as an elder would take a serious hit.

“What you mentioned earlier—the ‘acupoint core’—what exactly is it? Is that what got you so excited?”

At the mention of this, Su Keke instantly forgot all her aches and hurried to explain, “Uncle, have you heard of ‘searching for the dragon and locating the acupoint’? When feng shui masters help people find auspicious land, it’s actually a whole area, called an acupoint field.

“Within that field, the spot where vital energy is most concentrated is called the acupoint core, or simply the ‘acupoint.’ It’s rich in life energy and dragon energy. People who live here benefit greatly…”

“Uncle, after all that, do you understand?” Su Keke suddenly stopped and asked.

Qin Mochen hummed. “It’s not hard to understand. Using an egg as an example, the acupoint field you mentioned would be the egg white, while the acupoint core is the yolk inside. The yolk is more nutritious than the white.”

“Wow, Uncle, that’s such a vivid analogy! If anyone asks me again in the future, I’ll explain it like that. But Uncle, the acupoint core is very small. In an acupoint field of hundreds of square meters, the core is only about two square meters—not nearly as big as an egg yolk.”

Qin Mochen: “Alright, I understand.”

“Uncle, truly good acupoint cores like this are rare these days. You should live here more—your wealth will soar, and it’s good for your health too,” Su Keke emphasized solemnly.

The corners of Qin Mochen’s mouth lifted into a pleased curve. “Alright, I’ll listen to you, little shaman.”

After a brief pause, he added, “This villa area was developed and built by me five years ago. The others were sold or given away—I only kept this one for myself. By your account, I really did get a bargain.”

“Hehe, isn’t that right? Acupoints are incredibly hard to find. To locate one, you first examine the dragon veins and the bright hall, then determine the exact spot. Miss by a hair, and you’re off by a thousand miles. ‘Three years to search for dragons, ten years to pinpoint an acupoint’—that saying isn’t just for show.

“Hiring a specialized feng shui master to locate an acupoint costs a fortune! But Uncle, you can consider coming to me in the future. I may have just graduated from my master, but my sensitivity to acupoints was personally praised by him. I’ll give you a 30% discount—no, no, a 50% discount!”

Qin Mochen chuckled softly. “Deal.”

Assistant Wu followed behind the two, carrying bags and forcing a smile.

He finally understood what “no comparison, no harm” really meant.

In the past, Fourth Master barely acknowledged anyone. If he occasionally spoke a few extra words to him, Assistant Wu felt highly valued, firmly seated as the top subordinate.

But now… forget it. Without comparison, there’s no harm. Why the hell was he comparing himself to a little girl anyway?

The door used a password or fingerprint lock. After opening it, Qin Mochen also registered Su Keke’s fingerprint.

Assistant Wu: …

He’d followed Fourth Master for so many years—forget fingerprint access, he didn’t even know the front door password.

The little figure in his heart squatted in a corner, drawing circles.

“Wow, Uncle, it’s so big and so beautiful inside!” Su Keke’s eyes lit up the moment she entered.

“Heavens, is this golden-thread nanmu? Or golden-thread nanmu ebony?”

“Wow, this jade cabbage is full of spiritual energy—this is a real feng shui treasure!”

“And this painting…”

Qin Mochen: …

Assistant Wu: …

In the end, Su Keke pattered up to a bedroom door on the second floor and plastered herself against it, as if she wanted to melt into water and seep straight through the door!

Qin Mochen stood right behind her, arms crossed casually as he watched, and asked, “What priceless treasure is it this time?”

Su Keke clung tightly to the bedroom door and turned back, her eyes shining brightly. “Uncle, who lives in here?”

Qin Mochen raised an eyebrow lightly. “Who else could it be? Me.”

“Uncle, I see darkness gathering at your forehead—there’s a bloody calamity coming today. Best not to travel far.” Su Keke flashed a grin, showing her neat little white teeth. Qin Mochen promptly turned down the blind-date dinner arranged by his elders. “Uncle, lately your eyes look watery, your complexion is rosy, and the corners of your lips keep lifting unconsciously—someone’s about to have a peach-blossom romance!” Qin Mochen fixed the little girl with a deep, unreadable gaze. Later, with Su Keke riding on his back, she said with a mischievous smile, “Uncle, I’ve done the math—hehe—you’re missing me in your fate.” When Su Keke became Mrs. Qin, the Qin family collectively exploded: That’s her! That shameless man! The one who turned a girl who’d been calling him ‘uncle’ for years into his wife—an old bull eating tender grass, absolutely disgraceful! The utterly shameless Fourth Master Qin, however, promoted his young wife with a straight face: “Fortune-telling, face reading, warding off misfortune, ghost hunting and exorcism, feng shui and dragon-vein locating—Su-brand services. One and only, no branches. Worth having.” Tags: A seemingly harmless, naturally dense little fortune-teller who plays dumb but hides her claws × a outwardly proper, inwardly scheming, abstinent-type uncle.
