Chapter 90: Her Riding a Pig Was Called Cute
Someone had dropped a squeaky rubber chicken on the ground, and Chi Qian stepped right on it. It was squashed flat, letting out an ear-piercing shriek that echoed through the yard, taking forever to rebound.
The air froze.
Shi Jianchen, spared at the last second by that chicken, stiffened. Chi Qian’s foot had landed right between his legs — just a little further and it wouldn’t have been the chicken lying there in such a tragic state.
He glanced at the poor, flattened toy and broke out in a cold sweat for himself.
But by now, it was too late for Chi Qian to escape.
Chi Muze casually hooked the back of her collar with one hand and lifted her up. Carrying her over to the pergola, he said to Chi Lisen, “I’ll take her aside for some… education.”
Chi Lisen cast a glance at pitiful Chi Qian, nodded approvingly, and felt relieved.
At last, someone in the family was willing to discipline this little menace.
Good.
Chi Qian may have won the game, but she had lost her dignity.
In front of all the guests—and all the victims of her poop-water—she was hauled off by her uncle, looking like a helpless, pitiful quail.
Chi Fengxiao pointed at her and laughed. “Hahaha, Qian Qian, serves you right for chasing everyone so wildly. Now you’re the one getting punished!”
Chi Qian twisted around, firing her water gun back at him.
Splurt, splurt!
Chi Fengxiao and Chi Chaoshen’s pants were both instantly soaked.
Chi Chaoshen, caught in the crossfire, was baffled. “I didn’t even say anything. Why’d she spray me too?”
Chi Fengxiao coughed. “That’s how kids are when they lose their temper. Second Brother, you were just unlucky to be standing next to me.”
Chi Chaoshen: “…”
Chi Muze noticed her little stunt. He gave her a shake, eyes narrowing in warning. “Hand it over.”
Chi Qian surrendered the water gun, drooping her head in defeat.
Winning the game meant nothing—she had lost the whole world!
The livestream chat was bursting with laughter:
[Last second Chi Qian: I am the ruler of this domain, everyone obey my paint! Next second Chi Qian: a poor little kitten caught by the scruff of fate]
[Who’s this handsome guy? He’s so hot I’m drooling enough to fill the Pacific Ocean]
[Let me introduce—this is Chi Muze, Chi Qian’s uncle, general manager of Chi Corporation, and also… my future husband]
[How much did you drink upstairs? Already talking nonsense]
[You’re all busy drooling over a pretty face, but me? I just want to know if Chi Qian’s butt is about to get spanked into sparks]
Qi Lan gloated, laughing so hard his shoulders shook. “Finally someone’s putting her in her place!”
Then he glanced at Shi Jianchen and his eyes nearly popped out. “Bro Jian, you should really change pants… Chi Qian was too ruthless. If people don’t know the story, they’ll think you crapped yourself!”
Everyone’s eyes went straight to the young master’s trousers.
Shi Jianchen’s face went dark. “…Say one more word and I’ll throw you in the pool.”
Qi Lan instantly zipped his mouth shut with a gesture.
Yuan You’er giggled, smug. “Qian Qian’s so nice to me, she only shot my calf.”
Shen Jiashu sighed dramatically. “I kinda wish I were a girl too…”

On the third floor, in the bedroom, Chi Muze scolded the little brat first, then told her to wait while he went to change clothes.
When he came out, he saw Chi Qian crouched on the carpet in his room, her little hands tucked in front of her, sneaking a look at something.
Coming closer, he saw she was peeking at his scattered documents.
“What are you looking at?” Chi Muze asked.
Chi Qian pointed at them. “Uncle, this site selection for the development plan won’t work. The land has problems—there are undiscovered cultural relics buried underneath.”
Chi Muze froze. “Undiscovered relics? How do you know that?”
“I’ve got a friend who lives there. Heard it from them.”
“Isn’t that area just wasteland?”
“Don’t worry about the details.”
Chi Muze found it hard to believe. But then he remembered how his temporary secretary had once colluded with outsiders, and it was Chi Qian’s reminder that saved a project worth a billion.
He took her words seriously this time too, making a mental note to bring it up in tomorrow’s meeting.
Seeing her still squatting, he scooped her up and plopped her onto the sofa.
Honestly, she was so small and light—lifting her wasn’t just effortless, it was almost fun.
“You can sit on the sofa, you know.”
“Uncle, are you just flexing your arm strength?” Chi Qian meowed at his arm.
“Can I swing on it like a monkey bar?”
Chi Muze: ?
What kind of bizarre request was that?
Still, he followed her lead, letting her grab his arm. She dangled and swung herself a few times.
Chi Qian squealed like a monkey: “Wheee! It actually works!”
Chi Muze: “If you trained properly, you could do it too.”
He studied her a moment, noticing how much healthier she looked than when they first met. Clearly, life had been good for her lately.
But… why wasn’t she growing taller?
After letting her swing for a bit, he set her down, then pulled over a suitcase.
“I brought you some gifts.”
“What gifts?” Chi Qian rushed over, eyes widening at the sight of a suitcase packed full of presents.
“This is just a bit?!”
Chi Muze had never been the type to bring souvenirs from trips. The only time he gave or received gifts was on birthdays.
But ever since Chi Qian came back to the family, she had surprised him again and again—rock carvings on sheer cliffs, gold bars from a sunken chest, giant pearls, even hand-carved wooden figurines…
He never knew being thought of could feel this good.
So, during his business trip, whenever he had free time, he would go out and pick something for her. One gift a day, until the suitcase filled up—and so did his heart.
Watching her eagerly tear open the presents, Chi Muze’s gaze softened.
The very next second, Chi Qian shoved the boxes aside, climbed into the suitcase herself, and curled up inside.
She shouted happily: “Uncle, look! I fit perfectly! Next time you go on a trip, just pack me along—I don’t wanna work hard anymore!”
Chi Muze: “If you stop working hard, you’ll just end up a salted fish.”
Chi Qian: “Wow, there’s such a good deal?!”
Chi Muze: “…”
This brat’s skin must itch constantly.

Night fell.
On the estate’s lawn, a grand ball was underway. An internationally famous orchestra played on stage.
The ideal version of the ball: Chi Qian would dance the opening waltz with her grandfather or uncles, then gracefully accept invitations from other partners, spinning beautifully across the floor.
Reality: The birthday girl had exhausted herself that afternoon and now couldn’t even be bothered to walk a few steps. Instead, she sat riding her pink pig, parading around the venue.
She was impossible to miss.
“Say, should I get myself a Peppa Pig too?”
“You mean the kind you raise in the day and eat at night?”
“I’m serious! Look at Chi Qian riding that pig—she’s got the whole place in awe. Who could outshine her?”
“The problem is, bro… can you guarantee a pig lazier than you will obediently haul you around instead of dumping you on the ground?”
“…Never mind, I’ll pass.”
The younger guests were jealous, but the adults were outright stunned.
Everyone knew how strict Chi Lisen was with the children. And his dislike of animals was no secret either.
Yet here he was, letting Chi Qian raise a pig at home—and even ride it?
Had Chi Lisen… changed?
“Dad, it’s boring if Chi Qian rides alone. I’ll go over there and ride with her,” Chi Fengxiao volunteered boldly.
Chi Lisen raised his wine glass, smiling coldly. “She’s a child, you’re an adult. Her riding a pig is cute. You riding a pig is animal abuse.”
Chi Fengxiao: ???
The adults who overheard silently looked up at the sky.
So much for thinking he had mellowed out—that was clearly an illusion.
And it wasn’t like Little Fragrant was just anyone’s mount.
Someone tried to climb on after Chi Qian dismounted, but Little Fragrant kicked its hind legs and sent them flying two meters away, then lifted its chin proudly.
Only then did everyone realize that this bow-wearing Peppa wasn’t to be trifled with. Nobody dared to test their luck again.
Just then, someone finally noticed Chi Qian’s wishing fountain.
“The sign says ‘Wishing Fountain,’ but why aren’t there any turtles in it?” someone asked.
Chi Qian swayed over on her pig. “They’re here. The turtle’s here.”
“Where? Where?”
“Right here.” Chi Qian pointed at herself. “My family’s turtle is on vacation today, so I’m filling in.”
Everyone: Huh???
